The notion of killing a female didn't go down well with Siin, even Kaltumi had made it clear that she didn't like her orders to be violated. Ever since she made the revelation, Siin had been having sleepless nights as his emotions and his thoughts kept on battling with each other. His emotions were of the opinion that Siin should need to Kaltumis orders while his thoughts were of the opinion that he owned up and did what was best for him.
" But would there have been anything good at all in his life if Kaltumi had not come into it. ?" He thought. More than ever he felt alone. He had no friends and allys . It had just dawned on him. He also had no social life. It was as if he was a robot who knew not his left from right. All he did was serve people and make them happy and all he ended up with was more money ,more fame and more loneliness. There was a sense of loyalty and charm that he felt in the presence of Kaltumi, which he didn't feel when she was not there. He mostly felt lonely when she was not there and mostly, his heart always thought of Ramlah for reasons he could not fathom. Maybe it was the fact that he broken her heart and felt a need to fix things . Or perhaps there was just a chemistry between the two hearts that kept them wanting each other even when it seemed like their host were not compatible. More than ever he needed questions and only his master Gamblesense could answer this question. While he knew that Kaltumi could be reached by the incidious meditation. He didn't know how exactly to contact Gamblesense. He feared that he may end up contacting Kaltumi again. And she would not be happy that he kept on coming to her without a prior notice. But he had to try things out for his self. What was life without an adventure , he said and closed his eyes to incide his body and soul. Deep down in his heart, he. Made it clear that it was Gamblesense that he wanted to connect to and not Kaltumi. Some moments into the meditation and Siin could not seem to pick up anything tangible from his strenuous meditation but he refused to give up. Minutes later and his shirts were already drenched in sweat as his breathing grew tense. There was no going back to loneliness he said to himself amidst the meditation. I demand to see Gamblesense." He said and at that point the stress was too much for his body to bear and he passed out on the velvet chair on which he was performing the art.
Siin awoke a scene quite familiar to some where he had been before. The sights of ravens and crows administered the fact that this was either Sharja or a town very much similar to it.
"Siin is that you ?" Said a voice from behind him.
Upon turning. Siin the joy of Siin knew no bounds as saw Gamblesense sitting on Wooden chair with a smile on his face.
" Gamblesense. Oh master. I have missed you so much. " Said Siin and rushed to embrace his master.
" I'm glad to see you again. I never knew we would cross paths again." Said Gamblesense as he tapped Siins back mildly in an embrace.
" Master meeting you was always like a dream. It was just as if I never met you at all. But things quickly changed and reality dawned on me." Said Siin as he sat down on a chair behind Gamblesense.
" Well life it self is a dream. No one like to wake up from a good dream but everyone would always escape from a nightmare. What nightmare have you escaped from that brings you hear today.?," Said Gamblesense and nodded slowly to buttress his slow voice.
Siin was silent for a while in comprehension of Gamblesense parables before smiling and finally spoke.
" Master you have spoken wisdom. A lot of issues had plagued my mind and I need answers to questions I can't even ask cause my understanding of things is not so perfect." Said Siin and sighed deeply.
" Say it out the way it is . I will arrange it for you. " Said Gamblesense In an air of wisdom.
" I fear that what I want from Kaltumi is something impossible as me and her are of two separate worlds. I also don't know why my heart bears a soft spot for a girl named Ramlah. My colleague at the facility. I feel bad that Baichi died and Ayra is now an orphan. I feel bad that I am now very rich and still feel so lonely. It's almost as if I was happier being a window cleaner." Said Siin in a bid to purge out his mind. I feel my mother's presence is no longer with me as my lonely days in Congo before the Shamans pearl have returned."
" Hm . The heart is truly an ocean of emotions. And sometimes only a flood can ease out the eruptions in ones heart. Listen carefully to the answers you seek. Your heart nurses a valid fear that Kaltumi may just be using you as an instrument to achieve her goals because she is dead and you are not. But do not forget your lesson on the circle of life. Life and death are nothing but positions which are characterized by realms and location. It's always easy to transist and be together when the time comes. That's up to the agreement binding two of you. Your heart nurses a soft spot for Ramlah cause you are no ordinary human. Half of you is a human and half of you is a semi ghost. Its the only way we could configure you to achieve greatness at a speedy rate. Your ghost protocol is loyal to Kaltumi while your human side which is surpressed by your ghost side is very much in love with Ramlah. You feel bad about Ayra being an orphan because you were an orphan your self and knew the pain of a lonely childhood , but far from Ayras loneliness. It's the fact that Kaltumi didn't care about the little girls future that baffles you the much. You feel bad that you have lot of money, fame and respect but still feels very lonely. This is because money does not translate to happiness. However it is a vital instrument in achieving happiness and sometimes wielding that instrument is difficult if one does not how to use it. Perhaps it's time to exchange some of those money of yours for happiness. You feel your mother's presence is no longer with you because, you have lived short of her expectations. You now kill people and live innocent girls lonely. Your mother had sacrificed almost her life as a ghost watching over you. When Kaltumi came forth with her love. She felt you were In safe hands and left you to start her ghostly adventures.
" The blue no longer functions.we can say it has expired and needs to reactivated by the lukaku pigmies of the Congo tribes. They are the witches and wizards that fashioned the pearl. A great deal of your happiness is tied to that pearl. You should treasure it jealousy and hold it very dear and safe. These are the answers to your questions. It's up to you to make judgement and execute actions." Said Gamblesense in his slow tone.
" I understand you just well master. I will have to go pay a visit to Congo to fix my happiness. My happiness must come before anything. Even when I was a window cleaner. I was not sad. I was poor but not lonely and sad. I grew from a poor window cleaner who was scared to offend a fly ,to rich surgeon who now killed people without remorse. My mother must be disappointed in me. Now I have to bring my self to kill a lady. It's just so difficult." Said Siin and sighed deeply.
" Hahahaha... You are such a riot. Did you kill anyone." Asked Gamblesense with as he giggled.
" Yes master . I killed Mirul and also killed the other guy at the oil well site." Said Siin with a down tone to his voice.
" So how about Baichi. ? Did you kill him to ." Asked Gamblesense.
" Not at all . Baichi died before I could shoot my arrow at him . He was struck by lightning." Said Siin.
" Good and fine then. What you have missed out is not so far fetched. The death that besieges them does not come from you. Perhaps your hands are just a channel. Their death comes from violating the sacred oath of silence on which all present as at when Kaltumi was killed, swore not to disclose the details to anyone as doing so was breaking the oath and cost of breaking the oath was death. So you see Siin . What has been taking their lives is the oath they break when they confess to you. You do not have to be a killer. If you confess them. Just leave the scene and leave the rest for the angel of death." Said Gamblesense and nodded slowly.
" But why didn't Kaltumi tell me this. Why did she let me drench my hands in blood. When there was an easier way out. " Said Siin in show of control fury.
" Cause she loves you." Said Gamblesense and nodded slowly.
" Love me ?. How does love comes to play in this scenario.?" Siin asked.
" Because this is a war and when you go to war you . You either kill or get killed. If you meet such dangerous killers with the motions of asking questions about their past. They would waste no time in burrying a bullet In your brain or sticking a metal in your rib cage. Your only option is to take them unaware And destabilize their guards . Only then are they at their weakest and would confess just to see if they make it pass your stage and wait for Azrael to come. You know they have their doubts about an intangible reaper but can't doubt a tangible reaper that stands before them . They would rather take their chances to survive your attack and wait for the consequences of breaking the oath if there even was a consequences at all, than be foolish enough to die at your hand without having to find out if breaking the oath really had a consequence or not." Said Gamblesense in an air of majesty.
" I see. So an attacking mindset is key here. " Said Siin.
" Yes very key. It's the only way to survive the monsters you will be facing. Kaltumi knows them better than you. They don't value human lives. The slightest mistake you make with with them can lead you to your grave. You must be a hardened warrior or all time and energy spent on you would be shoved six feet beneath the ground." Said Gamblesense and nodded.
" I see. So how about Ramlah. What do you think about her." Siin asked
" Nothing. Make your judgements and execute your actions." Said Gamblesense and sighed Deeply.
" Okay master. Im indeed very grateful for your help. I feel so much better." Said Siin and stood up to take his leave.
" It's always my pleasure to assist." Said Gamblesense and Smiled.
" Thank you master. I will be on my way now." Said Siin and turned. Gamblesense nodded and Siin walked instinctively to a orb of light which was as wide as a door. It prooved to be a portal as Siin ultimately found himself in a conscious state lying down on the floor of his room. He made to stand up but felt weak from tiredness. He decided to lay low for a moment and catch his breath. The fact that he had met Gamblesense made him feel very much happy as he got lots of clarification. All he needed to do now was to travel to congo and reactivate his pearl. Maybe after wards he would be able to enjoy all the wealth he had amassed. It would be to early to ask for a leave from Doctor ... But he could simply say he needed to go and make a quick research in Congo which was vital to human health and the surgeon community as a whole.that way . He would be given a week's pass. He hadn't been to congo for some years now and he knew Many things would have changed. If not that he looked like an european due to his skin color. He was sure that his step brothers and sisters would no longer recognize him as his skin now looked better and his body was filled with flesh in places that was once sunken due to the actions of hunger. He did not plan to arrive in a grand way and neither did he plan to arrive in a petty manner. A lot of villagers had written him off as a looser including his family members. He felt they would be at peace if they saw him looking tartered after so many years, yet their peace of mind was none of his business as what he cared about the most was to reactivate his pearl and inherently make a great impression to his family members and villagers that he was not a looser as they always thought he was. As soon as he could find strength, he rose to his feet and got a hold of his travelling bag. He began to pack all the clothes he would need for the journey and folded them smoothly Into the bag. He was going back to congo after several years of evading the war. He had sworn me never to return to go Congo Again but alas faith had other plans for him and he had no plans to challenge faith. He thought as he imagined the trip ahead.
