Seeking Gamblesense

He got hold of his cross bow and bent down to take an aim with the light from the electric bulbs of the sorrounding houses , providing him all the necessary light he needed to take a perfect short. Baichi was so frustrated at the fact the Antenna had refused to obey his engineering prowess as it could not be fixed yet. With one last effort he shoved the wire upwards while holding metal pole with the other hand which had been wet from the rain drops which had fell on it . There a flash of lightning in the skies and a good voltage of it had been conducted by the metal pole. Even though Baichi was fast compared to a thousand people his size, he was not fast enough to beat the speed of electricity that rampaged through the atoms of the steel pole before finding their way to cells of Baichi, before he could even think of letting go of the metal object. In a blink of an eye what was left of Baichi was a skewed body that exhumed vapour amidst the heavy rain. The lightning strike had gave him a thorough shock that sent his soul on errand to the kingdom come. Siin realised that Baichi who he had came to Kill had just been killed by lightning. He knew well that his wife would soon be out and would raise an alarm to attract neighbors and they street vigilante. He quickly sprang up and hurriedly walk away from the Siinn ,heading straight to the alley. Baichis wife was not at peace with the sudden silence that accompanied the lightning. Far from the whistles of the wind. She yearned to hear her husband voice,but heard nothing but the rain drops on the zinc.

" Darling are you there ?she said frantically and awaited his response. There was no response from her husband and neither was there time for her to pick a raincoat or an umbrella. She ran outside amidst the heavy rain and to her greatest shock lay the lifeless body of her husband on the ground.

" Baichi!." She shouted and rushed to him with all the speed in her legs. She crashed at him and held his head so dearly in a bid to appease the spirit of death to return her husbands soul to her.

" Oh Baichi. Please speak to me" she said and burst into a loud wail that was piercing and silenced the whistles of the wind.

" Please don't leave me my love." She cried as she cemented her face on the chest of the dead man.

" Help me !help me please. She screamed frantically as she clutched tightly to the massive body of Baichi while her tears rolled generously down her cheeks in bid to off the burning pain in her heart. Soon the vigilantes and many neighbors who had heard her cry rushed out to see what was happening.

" Oh goodness clara.what happened to Baichi."said their next door neighbor who had rushed out together with his wife to see what was happening.

" He was struck by lightning. Please save his life . I can't live without him." Said Clara who was quickly helped up by the neighbors wife while the numbers quickly bent down to search for a pulse.

" I'm afraid he has no pulse. Please be comforted Clara.we would here the last from the doctors. Give a moment to pick my keys. Said the neighbor and rushed into his house to get his car keys. At the point a lot of other people had gatherd to see what was happening. Many of the women had already joined Clara in her wails as the sight of Siins body bore no hope. His skin bore a discoloration which seemed as if he had been fried in oil. He was motionless. Everyone who saw him knew he was gone. Taking him to the hospital was just to get the doctors own official statement.

The neighbor was quickly back with his car and the men available lifted The massive body of Baichi and dropped it in the back seat. Other cars came in show of solidarity to their good neighbor and conveyed his wife and well meaning neighbor to the facility where Baichi was been taking to. As Soon as they arrive arrived at the hospita. The men together with help of the vigilante, carried Baichi into the reception before they were given a carier to lift up to the emergency ward.

" This is my very good neighbor. He was struck by lightning please do your best to save his Life."said one of the men as he watched the doctor examining Baichis body.

" You did well to bring him to the hospital. But I am sorry that this patient is already dead. Accept my condolences." Said the doctor and walked out from the Ward. Not one of the men were surprised that Baichi had died before they had brought him to the hospital. And still not one of them was saved from grief as the pain of loosing a jovial friend and neighbor began to weigh in on them .

" I will have to talk to Clara." She must be strong for Ayra."said the neighbor who had drove the car.

" Yes please. What a sad loss. Please communicate to her. The earlier she comes in terms with it the better." Said another neighbor who was almost in tears for the sudden loss of his neighbor.

" Oh Baichi. You were a good man.why did you have to leave us soon. Said another neighbor who was quick with the tears but mild with the sobs.

" Tell me my husband is alive . Tell me everything is okay."said Clara as she sprang up from around the half a dozen women that sat around her in solidarity.

" I'm sorry Clara. We lost a good man. May The good lord give us all the fortitude to bear the the loss of our good friend." Said The neighbor whose speech was caught short by the outburts of wails from the widow and her companions. At this point no one was consoling anyone .it was a free to air cry party and death had subcribed for everyone present even the neighbor who had been strong . Could not help but burst into Sobs at the sorry state of Clara. Far from the that,it was the thought Little Ayra , having to Farr through life without a father ,that broke him the more.

( Days later)

It still all seemed like a dream to Siin. That Baichi had died without him having to raise as much as a finger. He began to wonder if it was just an ordinary coincidence or there was a relationship between what Baichi had said about confessing and his sudden death. It had been over a week since the Demise of Baichi and Kaltumi was still absent with her list of stones. Siin was already worried feariu the fact that Kaltumi may have abondoned him for trying to disregard her orders or perhaps she did not love him any More. All this and many thoughts brawled through his head as sat in his velvet sofa. Still feeling lost and lonely he a thought quickly struck on his mind and it was the rememberance of an old master.

" Gamblesense." He said as his eyes widened. He had just recalled the art of incidious meditatation.

" Oh my . How come I never thought of this the whole time." Said Siin in a whisper to his self.

He quickly sat properly on the chair before lifting his legs and folding them on the chair across each other like a budha Priest. He closed his eyes and for the first time in the real world, he was performing the incidious meditatation. Some minutes into the process and Siin couldn't seem to connect to Anyone. The whole waves were blurry and nothing seemed to make sense to him. He managed to get a hold of his self and disembarked from the whole process amidst a sweaty face and deep breaths , owing to the strenous nature of the art. He took several deep breaths ,put his mind at peace as much as he could before closing his eyes to perform the process again. Some more longer monites of patience and concentration, Siin could see Kaltumi standing afar from him. Her back was facing him as she looked away to the colourful meadow adorned with beautiful flowers. She was looking forever beautiful in her white flay gown that covered her feets. Her hands and neck were visible and they seemed to radiate like the night star.

" Kaltumi. My love ." Said Siin as he smiled subconsciously at Kaltumi. There was no response and neither did she turn to acknowledge his call.

" Kaltumi it's me Siin. Can you hear me. " Said Siin as he pulled closer to her. Still there was no response from her and Siin concluded that she could not hear him. He decided to meet and perhaps take her in a show of affection. After taking a few steps towards her . He realized that he could no longer garner pace . He seemed stucked in one position.

" Please Kaltumi talk to me. I'm sorry for disobeying you." Said Siin and crashed with a tud to his knees.

Only then did Kaltumi turn and walked a little closer to him.

" You tried to disobey my order. Anything you do , I know. I see all that there is to see." Said Kaltumi with a stern facial appearance.

" I am sorry my love. He had a young daughter and my mercy towards her, had caused my courage. I ganered more courage and went back to finish up the work but lightning struck him dead before I could finish the work.

Kaltumi was silent for a while before finally breaking her silence.

"So what have you learnt now.?" Said Kaltumi in a calm voice. Siin was Silent. He could not pinpoint what it is he had learnd and decided to remain quite.

" If you don't know . Let it be known now. With you or without you my will would be done. I took you off penury and brought you to dine with the Kings. You enjoy a better life because of me. Have you grown wings to challange my authority now.? Please tell me Siin." Said Kaltumi with an air of calm."

" Forgive me my Lord. I have been ungrateful to you. Indeed I'm deserving of your anger." Said Siin as he bent further to the floor.

" Your mercies fall for a little girl. The offspring of a snake is always long. An apple does not fall far from the tree that gave it life. If the lad is of good heart. Then taking Baichi out of her life is a gift which no one else can give her. " Said Kaltumi and Smiled warmly at Siin.

" Your words are divine. You have spoken wisdom my love." Said Siin and continued.

" I was scared . I thought you wouldn't come again Said Siin. I knew I wronged you. Yet punishing me with your absence is a measure to tidious for my frail heart to bear. Please Kaltumi be merciful on me. " Said Siin in an emotional tone.

" If only you knew Siin. If only you knew." Said Kaltumi and her eyes went moist amidst the warm smile on her face and continued to speak.

" The first things would always have to come first. We are making progress with the list . It seems you came early this time around. No problem at all. No one was ever to old too die and no one is ever too young to survive. You have done a commendable work so far. The next person on the list is someone of high class and social Status. That day she was in the room when the verdict to take my life was passed. She voted for it too. She shall fall for it to. Magarita Awodil. Do not rush to drop this stone. She is heavily guided. You wisdom and more must come to play if you stand a chance on dropping her without a hitch. " Said Kaltumi as her face grew stern from reflecting on the past.

" A lady ?" Said Siin as his eyes widened in shock.

" Yes a lady who kills. She is no different from any other killer. A killer is a killer be it a male or a female. Death has nothing to do with gender. You must never forget that." Said Kaltumi in a sober tone.

" I would hold dear to your words my lady ." Said Siin with a touch of revamped energy in his tone.

" The magarita bar is not known to many. It's fashioned for elites and is located underground beneath the Aliko Towers. She won't be too difficult to find . She shouldn't be too difficult to Cleanse to if you are smart enough." Said Kaltumi and frowned bitterly. Even Siin could not tell the reason for the sudden frown.

" I will do anything possible to do your bid my lady. I am eternally grateful to you. Loyalty is what I would bring to you. " Said Siin and clutched his fist.

" And results to. I must commend you my dear.You lived up to my expectations. Grater rewards awaits you. "Said Kaltumi and turned to face the beautiful garden.

"Kaltumi. " Siin Said , blanking every other thing that mattered for the question his heart yearned for an answer.

" Yes my dearest." She said with a warm smile and turned to him.

"Would there ever be an us. I mean just me and you." Said Siin in the most sober tone yet.

" Yes. More than anything I will want that to happen. But I know that emotion is the enemy of focus and without focus, emotions can never come to be enjoyed. First things first my dearest Siin. First things first."said Kaltumi with a very warm smile.

" The notion of you and I Basking together for eternity really feels my heart with joy. " Said Siin and returned her warm smile.

" I will have to excuse myself from your visit. We had a great time today, and we had some lessons to teach and learn." Said Kaltumi and blushed a little.

" Very much noted my lady. I look forward to seeing you soon." Said Siin amidst the joy he felt.

" Great then. Have a wonderful night ahead. Don't forget to be careful when you take out the stones.They aren't mushrooms, they carry their own resistance with them." Said Kaltumi with a knowing smile.

" I would keep that in mind. I must confess that I was almost caught of guard by Baichi Gwana while I had attacked him some nights ago. I felt bad about that and have promised not to be so dumb in the face of danger again." Said Siin and nodded his head lightly in reflection to the happenings of that night.

" Great then. That is why I wasn't happy with you. You almost got your self Cleansed by an enemies soldiers. All our efforts.All our time and all of our resources would have been tossed down the drains. Oh Siin , by now you must know how important you are to me. The enemies have lots of soldiers against me , I have only you. If you loose this war , I will be damned for eternity and my heart shall know no peace. The motion of me and you being together would be just a mirage." Said Kaltumi and sighed deeply.

" Oh mine. I thought you were said because I was skeptical about cleansing Baichi due to the pity I had for Ayra. I really thought it was That." Said Siin as his eyes brightened in the face of a new finding.

"Well. Far from that. Results is results.The man has fallen and you did a great Job. My greatest fear is loosing you Siin. You are my ultimate goal.someday you would understand. But for now I really want you to protect your life jealousy. You don't just live for one. You leave for two. And that is me and you. "Said Kaltumi as she  spoke with an air of Royalty.

" I understand My lady. It gives me so much joy to finally know that I mean so much to you. Most days a devil comes to mind and whispers all sorts of crap to my hearings...." Said Siin before he was caught in by Kaltumi.

" What does it say to you." Said Kaltumi failing to mask her curiosity.

" It says I am just a puppet getting used by a master puppeteer.  It says you care only about your revenge and do not care about me. It says that all you do is decieve me so that I'm fooled to thinking that you really love me. It says I will always be poor window cleaner from the slums." Said Siin with a falling intonation to the last sentence.

" Wow .. that's one hell of big mouth devil. But then that is what they are " Devils." Peace , truth and harmony gives them so much discomfort.  It scalds theirs skins like volcano. They would always try to destroy any Sense of harmony and love that exist between us just to break the strongholds in our ranks. The enemies would walk over us if we ever get distracted by personal conflictions. Don't forget how far I have brought you. The devil is always a liar and truth is never a mirage.  " Said Kaltumi and continued.

" Siin . " She called out.

" Yes my lady." He replied with great loyalty.

" Have I been anything but good to you." She asked in an emotional tone.

" No my lady. All you have done to me is Good and nothing short of good."  Said Siin with a sober tone.

" Who took you off the mats and placed you on a luxry sofa." She asked.

" You. My lady." Said Siin.

" Who took you  out of the sun and placed in a suiting office?." She asked.

" You. Kaltumi. It's you." Said Siin as he nodded vigorously.

" Who saved your life and gave you a second chance." She asked in same emotional tenor.

" It's you Kaltumi. You saved me from the grasp of death and filed my poor life with wealth and respect." Said Siin with a sense of passion.

" Who caused you to cease eating with the rats till you now dine with lords and royalties. " She asked again as she maintained her full gaze on his.

" Oh my merciful lady you are the one. " Said Siin and protracted to the floor in total submission.

" Forgive me my lady. I have been an ingrate. The wealth and fame have made me forget who I am.  I forgot how difficult my life was before you turned things around. I am forever indebted to your mercies my lady Please forgive me." Said Siin almost bursting into sobs from the raging guilt he felt in his heart.

" That's no longer who you are. You are no more the window cleaner they use to know . You are now an instrument of greatness and the world must bow at your feet. You will avenge me and you shall be greater than all your folks. You shall see that loyalty to a person like me truly pays. I keep my words Siin. Don't forget to always keep yours. 

" Over my dead body my lady. My loyalty is forever strong. You don't have to worry a bit about it." Said Siin with an air of gusto. 

" Be careful ,the words your tongue spins. Your words are your bonds." Said Kaltumi with a knowing smile.

" I Know my lady. I am very confident abount all what I say.  I owe everything to you and I will be an ingrate if I let you down." Said Siin with all the seriousness in the world. 

" Great then. I have no doubts about your loyalty in the present. But the future is full of temptations and temptations are full of uncertainties. We all have to gamble at one point or the other. You are my game and I hope to win with you. A win for me Is a win for you to. Don't forget that Siin." Said kaltumi in a Charming tenor.

" I know . And i have no doubt  that we would win for sure. An eternity with me and you is my driving force to keep cleansing your enemies. Sorry I mean my enemies or better still I mean our enemies. I have personalized your battles and would fight them just like I would fight mine. Be rest assured that my best is what I give and nothing short of that. We would keep on improving together my lady. " Said Siin and clutched his feast in air of vengefulness. 

" Perfect Siin. Just perfect. I have zero doubts in your capabilities . You are strong and witty.  I hope out match would stand the test of time. There would much time for love and merriment in the near future. But at the moment, the days to rest and merry is not upon us. These days are to work and toil the farms of vengeance. Nothing but the blood of my killers would give us a bountiful harvest. Never forget that. " Said Kaltumi with a brightened sense of glee as if the though the notion of death illuminated her mind. 

" Then their blood shall nourish our lands and we shall reap all the bounties of our hard work together." Said Siin as he reciprocated the smile, only more cheerfully like a baby who had not seen it's beloved mother in long while and finally saw her at the time it list expected to see her. 

" I will have to excuse my self yet again. Get some rest . You would be needing all of it. " Said Kaltumi and waved at Siin before turning and heading to the beautiful meadow in the distant horizon. 

" See you soon." Whispered Siin as his smile was quick to fall. In as much as he had tried to stay happy after her departure. There was always a sense of loneliness that overwhelmed him, which he could not subdue no matter how had he tried.
