All done and prepared to pull down the kill. He realised that the thought of Ramlah had been on his mind for reasons even he could not pinpoint.
" My conscience must be judging me. I really need to speak to Ramlah and appologise to her . " He said to himself as he combed his hair before the Mirror. But then what was his appologies be about if he still believed he had no positive response to her appeal, he thought.
" Well either way. I will have to see her talk to her. Only then will my heart ease a little." Said Siin and quickly tidied up his hair before heading straight to car where all his cleansing equipments had already been stacked in the trunk of the car. He believed very much that Ramlah would be at the Mansion as she seldom went shopping even though she was at liberty to do so on Mahirs expenses. The drive to the Mansion was quicker than usual as it was Saturdays and the roads were much scantier due to the fact that many workers were resting at home. As soon as he was at the gate, the security man at the gate recognized his car and hailed him.
" Good morning boss. It's been a while . I'm very glad to see you." Said the young man as he rushed to open the gate.
" Good morning Mr.Salis. I'm doing great . Hope your night was good to." Said Siin as he humbly came down from the car to greet the security man.
" Welcome sir. My night was very great. I'm glad to see you again sir." Said the security man as he approached Siin upon sighting the clutched hand of Siin which signified a generous tip was about to be received.
" Have this little change. It could be vital for your transportation fare and other little things you .ay add.said Siin and headed back into the car amidst the series of thanks and prayers the your man was dishing at him.
Don't mention please. Have a nice day." Said Siin and zoomed off into the building. He had bearly parked his car when spotted Ramlah in the lawn enjoying the nutritious rays of the morning sun. She wore a dark shade glass to match her black silk gown and white flip-flop. Her beauty radiated across the senses of Siin that he needed a moment to behold it properly. He paused for a while to catch his breath before heading out of the car and walked straight to Ramlah who had picked his trail. She was quick to feel a dire need not to talk to him and hurriedly stood and walked into the living.
" Ramlah Wait. Good morning." Siin said as he trailed her footsteps to catch up with her. And without knocking on the door he pulled down the handle and pushed it open to gain access into the room.
" Ramlah. I wanted to see you . I know you are angry but please listen to me." Said Siin upon seeing Ramlah feining to be busy with a newspaper in her hands.
" Good morning. You can say what you want to say . I'm listening to you sir." Said Ramlah in a tone of voice that held no ounce of hospitality in it.
" I would have thought a kind hearted fellow like you would ask me to sitdown first." Said Siin in an emotional tone. He knew how cool Ramlah had always treated him and felt bad that he was the reason for her abrupt transformation.
" I would have thought a gentleman in your category should knock before entering a womans room." Said Ramlah without looking at Siin as she paid all her attention on the paper she held.
" I'm sorry about that. Please pardon my marners. I haven't been in the best of mindsets of lately" said Siin as he looked at Ramlah in wait for her to respond to his gaze.
"Well that's rather a scary news coming from a surgeon of delicate organs." Said Ramlah as still not giving visual cognizance to the presence of Siin.
" I know this is not you. You are only hurt from the incident at our last meeting. And I take responsibility for making you feel so hurt till it seems you are now out to hurt people." Said Siin in sober and calm tone.
" Oh I see. " Said Ramlah and glanced at Siins face for a second before transferring her attention back to the newspaper in her hand.
" Can we talk please. Just spare moment. I won't be long . I promise." Said Siin as viewed the beauty and Innocence of Ramlah.
" I don't not really think I can talk now. I woke with light headache and it's weighing down my morale." Said Ramlah and placed her palm on her forehead to buttress her words.
" Ramlah it's still me, Siin. It's very painful how much you can change towards me in such a short period of time." Said Siin as her reaction made him emotional. Ramlah was silent for a while as if thinking of the best option to go about Siins rendition.
" Have a seat Siin. I'm listening to you." Said Ramlah and dropped that newspapers she held in her hands. He looked at Siin but only very briefly, before shifting her gaze to the television that Hung on the wall while it showed moving pictures.
" Thank you Ramlah." Said Siin and sat down on the sofa that stood opposite Ramlah. She ignored his words of gratitude and kept on gazing blankly at the newspaper she held in her hands.
" Ramlah. How are you today.?" Asked Siin in a sober and calm tone.
" I am fine .thank you. Doctor Siin." Said Ramlah with extent of consideration in her tone of voice.
" Since the last incident at my office, I haven't had a moment of peace. I didn't like the fact that you had to feel bad for my cause. Even though my decision remains the same. I believe we can still be best of friends without any form of bad blood between us." Said Siin as he gazed at the modesty of Ramlahs physique.
" We are aren't enemies. You really didn't have to drive down here to tell me this. You know how much I hold you in high esteem and it's just f*******n in my dictionary to wedge a malice with you." Said Ramlah and flipped the a new page of the newspapers.
" That's the main reason why I Came. I don't believe that anyone should ever leave a friend unhappy. That day you left in tears and it broke my heart. It would be just a shame on me it I failed to turn up at your place to check how you have been doing." Said Siin in a soft tone.
" I am fine Doctor Siin. That is really so kind of you. " Said Ramlah without even looking back at him.
" Your tongue. It says something else and your body says different. I know you are still very hurt by my decision and I Know that perhaps you now hate me badly. But you must never forget that we became friends before the both of us came over any fortune and that should always be of great importance to you." Said Siin in a sober tone.
