Siin had walked into the Sheikhs office following the lead of the security  officer and was met by a jovial looking sheikh. "Doctor Siin. How are doing today. I hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long." Said the Sheikh upon sighting Siin. " Not at all sir. It's my honor to wait in your palacial tower sir. " Said Siin as he stood blankly before a chair. " Oh please have a seat Doctor. Feel at ease and feel at home." Said The Sheikh as he sat feeling relaxed in his executive leather chair. " Thank you sir. Said Siin and Sat on yet another soft chair that had small wheels beneath it. He had thought that the hall outside the Sheikhs office was the most beautiful place he had ever saw in his life. Yet the elegance the Sheikhs office had made the Hall look like a dungeon. The walls were of white marble tiles and golden metals that adorned them in breath taking patterns. " Doctor Siin. My words fell short to thank you for what you had done for me. I believe words would always fail me to express the magnitude of such gratitude. Those who know me well , know that I am a man of actions and less words. Thats why I have called you here today. You are free to ask me for any favour of your choice. And if it is within my capacity then your favor would be granted without delay. " Said the Sheikh in a serious tone and without the presence of a smile. He knew the magnitude of giving a man the power of free will against his possession and waited to see if he had made a rational choice afterall. " Once again, thank you very much Sir. I feel truly elated that a man of your category is hosting me to such a benevolent meeting. On a good day, this kind gesture is rewarding enough for my my selfless act of saving a life. It would be dishonourable for me to ask for a reward for carrying out my primary duty sir." Said Siin in a calm tone and humble smile. " Hmm. A rare person of intergrity amidts the severe hardships in the lands. I must say I am impressed. Well you saved my Son who is currently basking in good health with the Nurse Ramlah. But what you don't know is the depths of Shame and mockery which you had saved me from when you saved the life of that infant. My self confidence which had been on the decline ever since my wife gave birth to my first daughter. I had prayed and fasted to get a male child for a first child. I felt very unhappy when I discovered that it was a girl not a boy. I had kept my hopes high when my wife got pregnant again but all she gave me were girls and more girls. To pain of having to work tiredlessly knowing you have no male child to Carry on your legacy. " Said the Sheikh with hearty smile. " " If you insist sir . I will have to make a request. The night I saved your son was indeed a memorable one for me for many reasons. I broke all existing protocols of the post mortem code to sneak into the morgue and Save your child as I felt he was still alive and I was bestowed with a power to save him. Mind you, had I not been present to save your child no other skillfull surgeon could save him. What I mean to say here is that , far from expertise and doggedness. Grace as a virtue played a lot of role in the process. It was as if your son was already dead but began to breath again when he connected to my presence. After successfully performing the surgery. I held in my arm and there was dire need to hold him to my heart as would an elder brother hold his infant brother. All my life , I never hard a true family love. My Mom also died at chield birth and my father blamed me for taking her life . He hated me till he passed away. It made my life a miserable and a hell to live. I fear deep down that this child may suffer the same fate so I have volunteered to be an elder brother to your infant , however that can only be possible if you adopt me as your son. That is my request . I want you to adopt me as a son. Having a kid brother and being showered with fatherly love and attention is what I yearn for the most in this life of mine. " Said Siin after staging an emotional face. " Hmm. I see. Doctor Siin you really aren't any ordinary doctor. Are you ?" Said The Sheikh with rich smile on his face. " I try to solve outstanding problems sir, but I'm still very much an ordinary Doctor. " Said Siin and bowed his head slightly in respect. " No you are not. You are a wise man and I see through your heart. Our family would profit from having a son in you . I am Shagori. I am a man of my words. Let it be known henceforth to the world that the good Lord has blessed me with two sons in the span of two days. Come and give daddy a hug." Said The Sheikh and stood up with his alms wide open. " You are so kind . " Sir Said Siin as meandered his way around the table and hugged the Sheikh in warm fatherly embrace. Even though he had put on a show about being lonely. He was truly glad to be adopted by a wealthy billonaire. Indeed his good was getting better and all he could do was thank Kaltumi in silence. Had it not been for her. He would have still been on cleaning windows under the scorching sun with little wages that reminded him of how miserable his life was, each time he got paid. The words of Gamblesense were coming through and he realized the difficult days days to come , were also not a joke thus he needed to garner all the energy, resources and connections he could get, to fight the coming battles of the near future. " One last request sir...". Said Said who was cut in by The Sheikh. " Father , my son . Call me Father." Said the Sheikh as he let go of Siin and ushered him to his seat. " The velvelt sofa outside the office that stands by monalisa painting. It's the most comfortable chair I ever sat on in my life. Can I have it?." Said Siin with a keen smile. " Well ofcourse you can have it. It will be towed to your room of choice in my mansion. You must also meet with your two sisters. Mariya and Hadeetha. They are currently at home . The other two younger sisters are schooling in far away England. " Said the Sheikh in an excited manner. " Thank you Dad you are so generous. I will like to remain at my apartment in the facility for now. I will be glad if the chair is towed there to me. However I will love it more than anything to meet my sisters." Said Siin with a tone of controlled excitement. " Well well my son. Why wouldn't you want to stay together with us a big family. That way , you would be able to protect your sisters. Most times I feel how vulnerable they look when they go out. Even though they may have boyfriends, A brother is always a pillar to his sisters both physically and emotionally. That energy has been lacking among my girls and I want your coming to bring about the positive difference that I have not been able to bring out as their father. My schedules are just too busy. Everyone looks at me at admire all the wealth and fame. What they don't see is the tidious routine that I go through to maintain my position on top of the food chain. There really isn't much fun in living the way I do. Most days all I want is to pick my bag with some little clothes and money,. Then travel around the world on my motorbike, or just travel to Africa on a safari tour. All I do is make money and there isn't any space in between to rest unless you one wants to fall off from his leading position and when you start to fall you fall really fast. You think money is the joy of this life huh. Well that is what I used to think until I made lots of money but wasn't still happy. One day you will be in my position and you will remember that I told you this. " Said Sheikh Shagori and sat down smiling mildly on his Chair. " Indeed dad, I have a lot of things to learn from you . You are really wise. " Said Siin. " Thank you my boy. Wealth is good when you have it under your control but when it gets out of hand and controls you . Just know your doom is no longer far fetched. I'm getting old Son. I can't continue to this life style forever. It's almost a curse that sips away my happiness. My daughter are nice children, but I'm afraid I have raised them to soft to the extent that they may hardly know their right from wrong. Wealth and politics go hand in hand and what they hold tight in common is competition. Silent wars are constantly being fought. I fear that my poor girls would not understand what it really takes to succeed in the modern world or politics and businesses. You are a wise man . I know a wise man when I meet one. You shall groom my son your younger brother and you shall protect my daughters, your sisters . You shall be my ally and element of support. Should the chips ever be down , you shall remain with us as that's what family do . They stick together."Said the Sheikh in a educative manner. " You have my words father. We are family now . I shall look out for you and my siblings till the last drop of my blood. We shall be fine at the end Dad." Said Siin with hearty smile.
