A HAZMAT DISCOVERY
Port of Brunswick.
FBI Special Agents Larry Fry and Dan Keller arrived at the port in Brunswick and began an immediate sweep of the container ship. Both were hazardous-material trained and a year prior had discovered integral clues that helped lead to the discovery of Waseem Jarrah’s first plot to detonate a nuclear device on US soil. Both ambled through the passageways of the giant ship dressed in DuPont Tyvek level-A hazmat suits. Re-searching the entire ship for trace radioactive material had proved to be daunting. The search had taken several hours and both men were exhausted. After completing a sweep of the interior of the vessel, they were now walking the pier, searching for any other signs of radiation.
