23 A PIECE OF THE PUZZLE Marine Corps Air Base Quantico, Turner Field. October 16, 6:45 p.m. EST. Agents Jana Baker and Kyle MacKerron traversed the four steps up into the Gulfstream V jet. The pilots were in a conversation with a man whose back was turned, and three men were already seated. Their conversation was low, but it was apparent they were arguing. One of them nodded toward open bench seats that hugged the left side of the cabin, signaling Kyle and Jana to sit. Jana whispered, “Who are those suits?” “I recognize one. The others?
