“WBS News at the top of the hour” a television anchor said. “We’re taking you now to the United Nations where a developing story is emerging. Mike, what can you tell us?”
“This is Mike Slayden, reporting live. The tension over a missing Russian diplomat escalated today as the Russian delegation to the United Nations pushed for military action against North Korea. The envoy, who went missing on a diplomatic mission to North Korea several months ago, is the son of a senior Kremlin party official. And, WBS News has learned, the man is also a distant family relation to Russian Premier Dumanovsky. Premier Dumanovsky has threatened independent military action against North Korea if the United Nations refuses to act. As of yet, no word out of the North Korean
