Stigma: The Ripper

“The Ripper said that he wants to have a rest. All this travelling and evading everyone who saw him made him tired so I decided to book him to an inn and strictly told me not to be disturbed until he gets his rest.” The man with the eye patch said with a stern tone. “Now, does that completes our contract?” the men in that he was talking to is a bit hesitant to end their contract but after seeing the same figure that the witnesses said they have seen,  they are convinced that it is ‘The Ripper’.

               “The contract will be lifted once we see him in person. And just as you have said that he doesn’t want to be disturbed then it shall be.  Do no allow anyone to enter that inn, you hear that?” the man with the highest authority asks the people around him who immediately run and surround the inn in an instant. “What are you doing? I thought our contract would end if I bring you ‘The Ripper’ that you sought out for? Why are you changing from your words now?” Roman ask but the man in front of him just stares at him. “I want to confirm his identity, until then, our contract still stands. Given that you are the ones that made contact with him, it might be wise that you will stand as our medium. We don’t want the m******e of the thousands to happen again.”

               Roman nod his head but with contempt for the people that held them down and got back on their words. “If you say so, then I will oblige.” He bow his head and left the room. Vargan sees him walking out and immediately approach him. “What now boss? I overheard everything from outside.-!” his boss immediately grabs him away.

               “We are going to make that guy act like the actual ripper. We can’t stop now that we are here, not until we get our freedom.” He said with his face full on contempt. “Now, lets go. That guy must be anxious of all the things that are suddenly happening to him. We’ll fetch some meat along the way for him to vent his pent up anger to.”

               A few moments later and they arrived in front of the inn where they booked ‘The fake Ripper’ the men immediately stand before them but the officer stop them from doing so. “We had orders to let them in since they might be the person that ‘The Ripper’ trusts for now. Let them through.” The men slowly clears a path for them but then the officer notices that they have brought in a woman. “Why is a woman with you? What do you intend to do?” Roman smiles and touches the woman’s breast. “To please him of course. All these things that happened might have ruined his mood. We don’t want to count more dead bodies like of the west right?”

               They pass through all the security with ease and stands in front of the door. “This is it. Are you ready to please him?” Roman asks the harlot that they had brought with them who seem to be a bit worried of what might happen to her. “Don’t worry, he doesn’t bite. You just need to do the same thing you do everyday and you will be fine.” Roman said with a calming tone and as the woman is about to enter the room, he grabs her buttocks and slap them. “Go grab him tiger.”

               Aroused by what he did to her, she slowly undress herself and slowly enter the room. “Are you sure this is going to work boss? I don’t think that the higher ups are that stupid enough to buy what we brought.” Vargan express his worries but Roman on the other doesn’t look like he is a bit worried of what might happen. “Don’t think too hard about it. If we manage to get away with it then that’s good, if we don’t then were screwed. Though it may end up prolonging our contract, this is a chance for us to be free. The moment they terminate the contract, we immediately leave this dreadful place. And start our new life in a place so far away with no one recognize us.” Roman said with a determined tone.

               They can already hear that the people inside the room are in action by the sound of their moaning and the shaking floor. “Looks like they are doing it intensely. Is she perhaps that yummy?” the sound of having an i*********e filled the entire inn as if they own the entire place, the people guarding the inn from the outside can also hear what was going on in one of the rooms. The woman keeps moaning so hard that the men outside felt a bit flustered and some of them are even hiding their b***r from the people that are passing by the inn.

               PLOP! PLOP! PLOP! PLOP! PLOP! PLOP! PLOP! PLOP! PLOP!     

               A few moments later and the door opens and they saw the man they asked to pretend as ‘The Ripper’ opening the door for them, all while buck naked. “I never tasted meat that great. Looks like their business was good because of her. Sorry if I made this place noisy. Why don’t you come in?” they walk inside the room and found the girl lying on the table with the man’s love juice still spilling out from her private part. “Looks like you’ve had wild s*x. Not that I can blame you thought, the thirst for lust is insatiable especially when you have not had a good meat in a long time.” The two laugh while Vargan covers the woman with a towel.     

               “Now enough of that. there is something that I want to tell you.” Roman then turns to the woman and the man immediately understands what he means. “It’s okay. I f****d her good that it ate away all of strength. She must still be sleeping right now.” The man reassures. Vagnar then carries the girl outside and booked another room for her to sleep in just in case she wakes up in the middle of their talk.

               “They are going to meet you later. The men that ordered us, they want to make sure that you really are him. Though they might not have facts to base on from but we have to make sure that you don’t get found out. The people in power nowadays doesn’t care about strength at all. If that is the case then they might have trained all the stigmas and turned them into weapons of war but that is not the case on this one. They are going to use the fact that he slayed thousands of enemies easily. They are going to use the influence and the rumors to instill fear on everyone that will have you. That is their goal so that they can manipulate everything, even kingdoms into kneeling before them.”

               The man looks at him intensely like he is trying to understand what Roman says and agrees. “I think that is true. The news about him defeating more than a thousand enemies sent a shock to the entire world, even I was surprised when I manage to get a hear of that. we live in the mountains but hearing someone achieving a feat like that, its unbelievable, that is until I met him myself. The look on his face yesterday, its nothing that I have encountered before. I can’t quite explain it but it’s dreadful and scary.” He says, expressing his fear of the real one.

 “If that is the case then can you act as if you are like him? That way, your act will be more convincing.” The man nods his head and says that he will do his best. “Now then, let me prepare you a full course meal. You must be hungry after all of that action.” The two shake hands after making a deal with each other and walks out of the room and went straight to the dining hall.

               “I will kill them all. I will kill them all. I will kill them all. I will kill them all. I will kill them all. I will kill them all.” He says to himself while walking down the mountain path where he then saw a group of kids fetching water from a river nearby. “Big brother! Big brother! Big brother! Can you help us carry this big jar?” he stops for a moment and scan their feelings using his power and when he is certain that it is not a trap, he helped them carry the jar. “So innocent.” He thinks to himself the moment they reach their destination. “Thanks a lot big brother. This may not be a lot but I hope this is enough to repay you.” One of the kids then grabs something inside the jar sitting on the able, it turned out to be a bread.

               One of the kids then wrap it with a fine cloth and made sure that the bread is secure before handing it to him. “That is all that we have. Please take this.” For the first time since he got out of the hell that he came from, he smiled. “Thanks, take care of yourselves. I will be on my way.” Before he leaves, he ask one of them to hug him and secretly drops in a few silver coins in one of the kid’s pocket. “Use it well.” He whispers to himself as he walks away from the house and the kids waving their hands goodbye.

               It was already nightfall when he reached the peak of he mountain when he spots some lights flickering from the distance where he came from and where the house of the kids are. He strained his eyes  as they widen in anger. “Enemy troops!” the anger within him that had a little rest when he met those kids awaken as he sprints back to where the house is located. “Please let me make it in time.” He says to himself as he pass by burnt houses along the way.

               Using his ability, he reached the house and made it in time before the troops from the nearby kingdom slaughtered everyone. It turns out that they round everyone up and are ready to burn them alive right at the last house which is the house where the kids are living in. “Bastards.” He said to himself as he unsheathe his blade.

               “Please spare us! We are but farmers, we know nothing please spare us!” one of the people begged but got met up by the enemy’s foot. “Shut it! That is why we are doing this! You are farmers! If the people has no food to eat and starve then they are easy to defeat!” the soldier yells and takes out his sword when all of the sudden he stops moving and splits into two. Blood, flowed like river as the people scream at the horrifying sight that they have witnessed. “Cover all of the children’s eyes.” The parents heard someone whispering to them and did what the voice said.

               The soldiers are now in panic due to what happened to their commanding officer, before they could even make a move. One by one, they all fall to the ground either being cut in two or got their throats slit open. The parents could not help but also close their eyes as they heard the screams of the soldiers. Unable to see their enemy, the rest of the soldiers went to run towards forest where they might have the chance to survive but then they saw the trees fall after getting cut in half, they also felt their lower half in some kind of pain, before they knew it, they are also cut in half just like the trees.

               “Scums. Kill, kill them all.” He said to himself and turns to the people that he saved. In that moment, they already knew who he was. The person that filled the rumors and news, the Ripper. One of the kids opens her eyes and recognize him and called out to him. “Big brother! Did you like the bread?” their parent is shocked when her daughter spoke to the ripper so casually and proceeds to cover her mouth when all of the sudden, he nods his head. “Yes, I enjoyed the bread. Thank you very much.” He said with a smile as if the anger disappeared when he saw the kids again.

               “Leave this place. More troops will come here. Seek shelter to the cities and other villages. Its more safe there.” He said while walking towards the people that he saved. Just as he expected, they are a bit afraid of him which is  only natural after what he had done. “Do this for your family, leave. And please don’t speak of me to anyone.” They then run to their burning houses to try and salvage everything what they can and by the time they turned back to see, he is already gone. “Will we see big brother again?” one of the kids asked her sisters and brothers. “I wish we can meet him again. Big brother is really kind.” CLINK!

               They turn to each other after they heard the clinking sound of coins and to their surprise, there are ten coins in one of the girls’ pocket. “Big brother really is kind.”
