Chapter 16

I Made sure to read over the letter like five more times getting more and more worried if he knew that I was a fighter,it means he knows more things and can ruin me anytime me does that mean I have a stalker and my stalker was my dad?. Without thinking twice ,I threw the letter at the back seat I sped down the road with so much force I knew the road cracked a little. And the handwritten letter sat solo in my back seat flapping away in the wind what is the worst he can do. I sighed slowly as i got to my drive way. I got out of my car making my way to the front porch as I opened the door ,I saw my mum Charles and some other people in suits in a serious discussion when she noticed me she abruptly stood up.

" oh Lyna dear you're back I was so worried i thought something happened to you" yeah as if she cared.

"And who are these people ?" I asked I don't know but now,everything seems to be suspicious.

"Oo they are the wedding planners. Shoot! I forgot to tell you our wedding had been shifted to September 17" she changed the topic immediately I knew something was up but I just ignored it I was really drained.

"That's next week"

"Yes so we have to go shopping for your dress" she smiled.

"not today I have plans" I simply said not sparing Charles a glance as I went upstairs to shower. When I'm on my period,I tend to get irritated, angry and many other emotions. I quickly got into the shower but I wasn't stained thank God. When I was done, I got into bed for a quick nap which I craved.

I was literally choking on my own saliva but I kept crying I was standing over something but I couldn't see it I mean I'm the one standing over it. I kept crying "no no" I kept chanting like I was performing a ritual a small large hand grazed my shoulder slowly that's when I noticed it was little me. "its OK princess " the voice sounded very encouraging and calm "thanks daddy" the little girl smiled sweetly as she wiped her tears. I quickly ran to see what she was crying over it was covered with a black cloak with a large 'L' written in blood I let out a,gasp as I with my heart thumping, I could hear it. I swallowed as I pulled removed the cloak what was before me shocked me to the core there laid me Lyna covered in blood not breathing just as I was about to scream, I saw my killer standing above me laughing and holding up a knife covered in what I supposed was my blood "oh dear princess come to me I won't hurt you" he said with a teethy smile then every thing went pitch black.

I woke feeling mentally emotionally and physically drained. As I stood up, something fell from my chest which seemed to fall from underneath my shirt I picked it up and noticed it was a note time seemed to freeze as I thought of the contents what is it now, my hands shook and my heart beat sped up as I slowly opened it.

You unwise child what if it was a serial killer huh? But don't worry princess I already locked your window.

I tore the letter in bits angrily and I felt pure rage what did he do to me in my sleep I went to my window looking around maybe he was still there somewhere yes i was scared like so scared but I wanted my fist in his face why me tho why do i always go through these a single tear rolled down my face as i sat at the edge of my bed my hands on my face tears rolling down. I quickly wiped my face as my phone began to ring why was Ham calling me.

“hello ”

“ Hope you are ready?”

“urmm about to give me 5 mins " I said as I began to search for what to wear I finally settled for a sleeveless navy blue jumpsuit and wore a black net like after dress because it was kinda cold outside. Some minutes later I swear I didn't take hours after straightening my hair and putting on mild make up, I wore black flats and yeah I was ready to go. As I made my way down the stairs, I saw Ham sitting across my mum and Charles talking about something that seemed really interesting.

"Can we go now?" I said sternly as I walked ahead of him outside I know it was rude but I didn't care. I waited for him by his car bored to the core like 15 minutes later yeah I'm exaggerating he came out smiling brightly.

"I'm sorry I made you wait"I just smiled and got in as he unlocked it not waiting for him to walk around and open the door.

"Are you OK?" He asked as he started the car and backed out of the parking lot.

" yeah I'm good were are we going" I said simply.

"The park" he said smiling sweetly and I swear I nearly leaned in to kiss him.

"Your mum is so sweet and her fiancé whoa amazing I mean even tho I've met him couple of times I've never had a proper conversation with him" wait what!.

"I'm serious he's my dad's business partner" I guess I said that out loud internally smacked my head. But Ham kept talking and I saw a glint of admiration as he talked about his dad.

"You must really look up to your dad" he smiled sweetly again oh God.

"He's just an amazing person and will go out of his way to see his family succeed".

"He sounds amazing I really wish my dad was amazing like that" I didn't know why I said that but he seemed so easy to talk too and the atmosphere wasn't tensed at all there was something about his aura that was so appeasing and cool and I loved it.

"I know it's not my business but what about your dad"

"He's dead" I said almost immediately.

"Oh I'm sorry" his eyes softened as I looked at him I smiled dryly.

" nah its fine I mean its been long so I'm not really affected by it anymore" Even tho I know I was lying at least I'm not completely lying. The drive to the park was vet short I just wanted to keep moving till I reached the world I know I'm stupid lol. We spent almost 1hour looking for a parking spot considering the fact that the parking was almost full. We finally settled for a spot around the extreme end of the park underneath a tree which was kinda creepy but I brushed off the feeling and he opened the door for me this time. As we were walking I couldn't help but look over my shoulder I just felt like someone was watching me. Little did I know he was closer that I could ever imagine.

HIS POV

She was really what a smart girl and I thought she would be a very easy one but turns out I was wrong I was expecting her to run to mummy crying but she just ignored it all well looks like she got stronger these past years. Marie on the other hand, I the w***e I always knew her to be. She's getting married soon wow. I laughed at the thought of her walking down the isle well she's also smart I know she's marrying him because of his cash I really feel bad for that dude.

She dropped down from her car and I watched her as she went into the club walking behind her, she stopped and I immediately hid behind the wall good sense I see I'm proud. She kept walking but hastened her steps as she got into the club I watched carefully when she dropped her bag and went to the bar laughing sweetly with the bartender I quickly used this opportunity to sneak in her changing room and put my sweet letter in her duffle bag. And quickly rushed out I waited for her to go in before I went to get myself a drink. The moment the fight started, i smiled in contentment as she punched that dude on his face and walked closer to the ring she was right where I wanted her. The moment we made eye contact, she froze and I went far behind that was just what I wanted. I heard people screaming and I saw her being carried out of the club by a very eye catching young man.

Her window was opened well my princess was not as smart as I concluded she was I laughed lowly careful not to wake her up. I walked around her room her bright yellow paint she was an arranged young woman I'm proud to say in taught her that. Her bathroom was sparkling clean and pure white. I finally dropped the letter underneath her shirt careful not to wake her up her breast have grown bigger and the temptation to squeeze it came but I held myself I need to finish this. And with a swift movement I jumped out smiling in achievement.

She'll definitely break now.

Following and watching someone's every move isn't as easy as it sounds you have to go to bed late yes,we sleep hah! and you have to wake up very early. You have to think fast and act fast. Following Lyna was actually very easy.

I watched her as she got into his car which was flashy I laughed looks like she's taking after her mum following and running after rich men I think I'll hint how proud I am in my next letter. She looked solemn and very self conscious and I loved it. I immediately drove directly behind them when they drove pass me sitting comfortably in my taxi I immediately drove some miles behind them just not to seem too suspicious. I parked some blocks away and swiftly followed them and his behind the bushes. The park was filled up today which will make it easy for me to be much more closer to her than usual. As they began to walk towards the crowd she kept turning and looking over her shoulder.
