Chapter 12

Elsa went straight to her boyfriend and they shared a very ewish kiss with the tongue and all I scrunched my nose in disgust as I scanned the area my eyes landed on Carter who waved me over to his side and I smiled brightly walking to the benches beside the swing and internally shivered as I passed the swing side seeing children swinging happily well I and the swing don't have a very pleasant history that b***h gave me a scar on my inner thigh you don't even wanna know what happened I know you wanna. Carter is a very nice,pretty and free jock yeah he's a jock he's also friends with almost everybody and loves to talk but his twin Carson on the other hand is a very quiet guy he's nerdy and all wears glasses loves hoodies always reading blah blah but is a very playful,fun and raw person when you get to know him which obviously I got to.

When I and Elsa became friends,she introduced me to them they are on our school's basketball team which is one of the best in the country yeah I'm proud we got to know each other we blended well because i love sports so we started going for games together and boom our friendship escalated Carter was the easiest to talk to because he was always talking but Carson was a hard very hard shell to c***k but I did eventually.

"Yo babe you look dashing hot elegant sexy sweet...what's popping" Carter smiled using funny hand gestures which made me laugh as I got closer and sat in the spot he patted for me to seat on and laid my head on his shoulder.

"You never change man and I should be asking you what's popping I didn't hear from you since school closed" i took my head off his shoulder and looked him straight in the eye for dramatic effects lol.

"I'm sorry fam I wasn't around I mean I traveled mate" he wiggled his brows as he said mate and I exactly what he was trying to pin point but I decided to act lost just to annoy him.

"You traveled to?" Carter rolled his eyes knowing I knew where but knew that if he doesn't spill this might take a while

"UK girl Jesus you're so slow" and I smacked him upside the head and we burst out laughing as someone cleared their throat.

"So sorry fam I forgot to do intros" Carter said as we both realized someone was actually there I sincerely forgot that someone was there and he has to stop saying FAM.

"No need we've met couple times" Ham smiled at me more like grinned but there was something behind that smile that I wasn't comfortable with.

"What where?" Carter feigned interest and turned to give me the what are you hiding look and I prayed that Ham will just shut up I tried really hard to have eye contact but he kept looking away urrggh.

"Well we met at Jake's party, the club and.."

"And Ham can I talk to you?" I asked knowing what he was about say and Carter's face lit up but he didn't say a word and I knew I will hear a lot when we meet one on one. He nodded and followed me as I stopped around the sea saw not too far from where Elsa and her boo where sitting I mistakenly locked eyes with her and she winked at me I rolled my eyes and turned to face Ham who was annoyingly sipping his drink.

" Ham I'm not sure if I heard you correctly the night you dropped my drunk ass home but you said you remembered where you met me or I'm I wrong?" deep inside I hoped he'd say I'm wrong or I was hearing things.

He took a sip of his milkshake before he answered where did he get a milkshake from...

"Well yeah I remember you were the girl that nearly witness me get down and dirty" he smiled and wiggled his brows but stopped when he noticed I wasn't smiling.

"What?" I was so confused laid? He was just oo.....

"Yeah I and the girl you saw me with where about to have s*x" filter please I don't need to know all that.

"OK I didn't need to know that but what else do you remember?" I pressed considering the fact that I know he knows more. He just smiled at me for a very long time sipping his drink I swear I nearly punched him.

"Well you were the girl that beat that dude with the funny name to a pulp yeah" he sipped his drink again which was getting annoying at this point on the grounds that I was freaking out right now.

"Urmm... Have you told anyone?" I asked slowly.

"Nah I'm I supposed to tell someone?" He asked obviously teasing me and I sighed and yeah I just met him and he knows my whole freaking life .... yeah the club is my whole life because this town is small anything that goes out will be everywhere.

"OK then don't mention it to anyone thanks" I smiled and he smirked as he took a sip of his drink which I was tempted to knock off his hands and slap him I hate the sound of sips not really sips per say but the sound he made as he sipped really pissed me off the way he looked at me as he sipped, made me think he already figured that out.

"OK then but on one condition" he smiled sheepishly but didn't sip this time.

"What do you mean" I hate this I really do I really really do oh God he should not say something stupid oh God please.

"Well I'll tell you when school resumes kay.. i have to think real hard on the condition to offer" He winked and walked away taking a very long sip making the most annoying sound ever and I nearly hit him from behind OK honestly I really wanted to smack his sexy behind.

I was so stressed and worried about a lot of things Ham was one of them Jesus this boy gives me sweet anxiety and I wasn't really feeling this park outing at the moment I need a quiet place to think. I looked around and noticed everyone was having fun Jake and Elsa making out on a bench and the poor kids watching, oh their innocent eyes Ham Carson and Carter running around like little kids I think they are playing catch but that's not my business anyway I looked around and noticed an empty chair under a very large tree. As i sat under the tree I relaxed my whole body and closed my eyes breathing in the fresh air and focusing on my mind very therapeutic. I thought of what could possibly happen if my mum and the big guy ever decided to get married and Ham telling someone I'm a fighter and why he said he'd tell me when school resumes which means he's enrolling in my school yay!.

"Hey what are you sitting there for you loner and I,won't ask why you and Ham where talking and why now anyway"Carter smiled as he sat down beside me and ruffled my hair I let out a loud groan which made Carter laugh and it sounded like a dead dog having sore throat which made me burst out laughing not because of his laugh but because of my line well his laugh too contributed ha!. We kept arguing and laughing as he told me about his vacay and the number of girls he hooked up with and the mad parties he attended he even showed me pictures of the place he stayed and the parties too I was low key jealous but I smiled anyway. Carson and Ham joined us and we ended up playing tag Elsa and Jake decided to join us as we ran around the field laughing and falling and I think I fell the most not that I don't have stamina but they kept tackling me and after a while, we all got tired and I decided to go home because I was just tired and lied I had a headache Carter offered to talk me home but I declined and walked home since the park wasn't far from my house. I knew Elsa wasn't gonna come so i didn't bother asking I just left.

When I got home? I received a random text from an unknown number;

«heard you're single is it true?»

I was so confused but then another message from the same number came in almost immediately;

«it's Ham btw»

I shook my head and blushed I mean why was he asking me if I was single if he didn't... I don't want to put any meaning into this so I just sent a quick reply telling nope.

My mum wasn't home so I just ordered pizza and ice cream and realized I really needed it I watched friends as I ate it and trust me I had a blast after I was done eating I slept and this time I didn't have a nightmare.

The rest of the weeks went by quickly with me having the same messed up schedule every f*****g day wake up ,eat ,bathe,maybe visit Elsa or watch or go to the bar and help Mark out and later in the night fight repeat. I didn't see Elsa much due to the fact she was always with her new boyfriend which made me feel a little lonely I know if I call her she will leave everything and come see me but I didn't want you be that annoying clingy bestie and besides she always invited me but I was trying to avoid Ham at all cost .The days went fast that before I knew it school was resuming my chest tightened when I remembered my conversation with Ham and buried my head in my pillow as I screamed and I actually hate school and reading oh God I'm just f*****g tired I sighed and closed my eyes till I fell asleep.

"Bitch....!" Someone screamed in my ears and I fell off my bed. The voice began to laugh loudly as I tried to open my eyes my head ached real bad as I tried to get up I stood up looking around and my eyes landed on Elsa what on earth is wrong with this girl.

"Yo.... That was funny I can't stop laughing.... That's by the way dude your phone has been off for days and today is the first day of school in case you've forgotten so get your ass in that bathroom and get ready I'll be downstairs preparing breakfast" before i could say anything she walked out and slammed the door shut preparing breakfast, what.

Some minutes later I came downstairs and as I got closer, i heard voices and laughter in the dinning room as I got to the room, the first person I saw like a freaking curse was Abra f*****g ham. What was he doing here as I got closer I noticed Jake and Elsa laughing in the kitchen and Ham was busy on his phone. Elsa noticed me and smiled brightly.

"I made pancakes here ya go" she said handing me the pancakes already coated with syrup I thanked her as I sat opposite Ham and trust me that was the most uncomfortable breakfast I've had in a while because he kept looking at me and I couldn't swallow well. When I was done after hours of torture , I decided to switch on my phone since Elsa suggested that we wait a little longer and go to school 10min late which I agreed easily I hate school. As I switched on my phone, I saw couple of messages some from Elsa some from Carter one from Carson reminding me to bring my English text book and one from Ham which was the first I opened;

«so you're single nice»

I immediately sent him a DM;

«nice, why is it so nice to you » I looked at him to see his facial expression and he smiled before typing his reply;

«nice because my condition is gonna happen » I was about to type a reply as Elsa announced that it's time to go thankfully my mum hasn't been home for two days now and I was happy. When we got outside I noticed Ham's red car and the other car was ash which I guess is for Jake.

"Lee you're riding with Ham see ya" Elsa smiled as she got in with Jake and drove off. I internally smacked my face as I got into the car without saying a word he started the car and drove off. The ride was killing I mean why didn't Carter come to pick me as usual I couldn't stand the silence and tensed air.

"so when are you gonna tell me this condition" I said looking outside the window.

"chill why are you in a hurry"

"maybe because I just want to know what I'm getting myself into" I said this time facing him and that was when we got to school I didn't wait for him to answer as I got out of the car.

"Lyna wait" I stopped and turned to face him.

"OK what is it?" I asked.

"OK this is the condition I want you to be my girlfriend" wait what?.
