Dana felt nervous while having dinner with her entire family. It's as if she committed a crime. She didn't mean to, if only she recognized Dylan right away, she won’t come with him. She’s sure her Aunt Zarina would scold her when they find out she had s*x with her sister Celine's fiancé.
She had met Dylan once on Celine's 20th birthday five years ago. That was also the day the engagement of the two was announced. She wasn't introduced as a family member. She was at the mansion but stayed in her room, secretly watching the party. She never had a grand birthday party. During her debut, she was accompanied by household helpers and staff from their hacienda because her grandfather arranged her debut there. He apologized, but she was surprised by the gift he gave her.
The title to the land of their actual hacienda, a Swiss account with millions of dollars inside that their family didn't know about, hence she had to keep it secret. A condominium building under her name.
That's why her grandparents brought her to Houston Texas. Right there in the condominium building she owns, she lived.
Although Zarina and Celine got mad, they couldn't do anything when they found out about the transfer of some of their grandfather's properties to her name. It's not even a quarter of it, so they shouldn't be upset according to her grandmother but Celine didn't receive anything during her debut. But their grandmother reason was that they always throw a party for Celine’s birthday every year while she never celebrated a birthday.
"Why do you seem anxious, dear?" Yolanda remarked to Dana, who lifted her head and smiled immediately.
"It's nothing, Grandma. I’m just thinking of something." Dana glanced at her sister Celine, who grinned in a way Dana couldn't decipher, wondering what it meant.
"Are you still studying? Why do I always feel like you're spaced out?" Damian asked angrily.
"Of course, Dad! That's all I can boast to Grandpa and Grandma. Should I act like a fool?" Dana retorted.
"Triconex's generic name?" her father challenged. Dana wanted to roll her eyes.
"Metronidazole, Dad."
"Plasil 10 mg."
"Metoclopramide."
"Furoxone?"
"Furazolidone, Dad." Dana lazily answered. When she looked at her grandmother, she just smiled at her, which Dana reciprocated with a wink.
"Euthyrox."
"Levothyroxine, Dad."
"Stop testing your daughter, Damian. She obviously knows everything."
"And don't always take her side, Grandma. That's why she's so confident because she knows she has you and Grandpa by her side." Celine added.
"Because you always bully her. Isn't it enough that we don't include her in gatherings and important events here at home?"
"Mom, you know it's not possible, especially now that I'm running for mayor and soon enough, your eldest grandchild will be getting married. It wouldn't be good if Dylan meets Dana before he's married to Celine." Damian explained.
"What do you mean?" Yolanda, her grandmother, asked angrily. Dana wanted to lash out at her father's words, but she remained silent because part of her conscience agreed with him.
"Let's admit it, she's a flirt. No decent girl goes to clubs and bars every day just to make out with men. Luckily she hasn't gotten pregnant yet. If you do get pregnant, don't bother showing up here. You're a huge embarrassment." Dana swallowed hard.
"That's too much, Damian. If your father were here, he'd surely be angry."
"Grandma, it seems like I won't be able to digest this. I'll just go up to my room. Excuse me, I'll leave first, you might get sick of my beautiful face," Dana said politely before standing up. Her father was about to stop her, but Zarina intervened.
"Who told you to bring her to dinner?"
"You all have no manners! I hope Maximo wakes up soon so he would teach you a lesson," Yolanda angrily said as she stood up too.
"Mom, you haven't finished eating yet," Damian called after his mother who walked out.
"Let it go! Dana's attitude is inherited from her mother. They spoiled your bastard," Damian sighed.
"Dad! Maybe when Grandpa and Grandma die, Dana will be the only one they'll leave their inheritance to. Don't allow it; I'm the eldest grandchild and the legitimate one," Celine said.
"Don't worry, dear, that won't happen. By the way, how's your relationship with Dylan? Has it improved?" Celine's eyes narrowed.
"How could it improve? We don't even cross paths anymore. You know how he is, such a workaholic, not even a text or chat," Celine sighed.
"It's okay, baby. This wedding is just for business purposes. Dylan's support greatly helps your father's mayoral campaign. So, just endure it for now. When you're married, then you can deal with him. For now, behave yourself and don't act rude. It would be embarrassing if he suddenly backs out of the wedding," Damian advised.
"Of course, Mama."
"The entire states knows you're engaged to the multi-billionaire Dylan Lagdameo. So, mind your actions and don't do anything that would ruin your reputation, understand?"
"It would be better if you got pregnant by him."
"Dad! We don’t even texts and chat with each other, what more with s*x?" Celine said with a shrug.
"Can't you find a way to conceive a child before you get married?"
"Yes, dear, and Dylan is so handsome; I'm sure my grandchildren will be beautiful and handsome," her mother chimed in.
"Oh, Mom, Dad... if you only knew how many times I've tried, but he says he's not into premarital s*x. He still believes that marital s*x after marriage is better," they laughed together.

"So, how was your night yesterday? Do you think you're pregnant now?" Celine asked, stopping her as she exited the bathroom.
She glanced at the door of her room. She knew she had closed it, so why was it open? Celine grinned, seeming to ponder what she was thinking. She raised the bunch of master keys to the mansion.
"Get out, sis. I don't want to argue with you. Don't worry, I'm not staying here. I'll just grab my important stuff," she said.
"Good, because I really don't want to be under the same roof as you. Just the thought that my father has a child with another woman already boils my blood," Celine retorted.
"I know, that's why I'm not imposing myself on your family," Dana replied.
"Yeah, but Grandpa and Grandma are being idiots about it. It's annoying," Celine muttered.
"If you're worried about the inheritance being divided between us, don't be. I already told Grandma that I'm fine with just the hacienda and the condo building," Dana assured her.
"You have some nerve to accept even a bit of it... you're just a bastard child, so don't expect much. And I won't allow you to get a big share either," Celine snapped.
"I know that too, so you don't need to remind me," Dana replied calmly.
"By the way, did you use the condom I put in your bag?" Celine asked, furrowing her brow at her sister's reaction.
"I was there at the club when I saw you flirting with guys. So I guess you needed a condom, that's why I put one in your bag," Dana swallowed hard. Yes, she had used the condom; she saw it when she checked her phone to call Ode because he suddenly disappeared. She thought it was Ode who put it there because he knew her plans.
"And I put plenty of tiny holes in it. Do you think some sperm spilled? Could you possibly get pregnant from your fling?" Dana's lips quivered as she stared blankly at Celine, who stood there laughing.
"Tell me you're joking, right?" Celine grinned, even throwing a flying kiss.
"Let me know when you're pregnant; I'll take care of all the baby stuff. After all, once you're pregnant, you'll be kicked out of our lives. Bye, sissy!" Celine waved mockingly before leaving Dana sitting on the floor of her room. She couldn't possibly conceive; the baby would die if she did. She only had five months left in this world, and there would be another child affected if Dylan Lagdameo turned out to be the father. She wouldn't be able to go to heaven if that happened.
No! No, no! This can't happen. I need to do something now, before the baby is conceived. Things will only get more complicated if they find out Dylan Lagdameo is the father. I won't be able to ascend to heaven then.

"Odette, wake up! Hurry up... Odette," Dana knocked on the doorbell repeatedly, not caring if she woke up any tenants in Ode's neighboring condo. This was a code red, a big problem if it happened. She knocked a few more times before the door opened, and Odette's hair was disheveled.
Quickly, she pushed the door open and entered his unit.
"It's 2 am in the morning, sis. Where did you come from? Is there a fire in your house? Did you evacuate here?" Odette scratched his head, plopping down on the sofa after dropping his suitcase.
"Celine messed up," Dana quickly recounted her sister's words. Suddenly, it seems like Ode got poured with a hot water because of what she said, waking up all the sleeping cells in her body.
"What should I do? What if I'm really pregnant? What now? I know a lot of medicines I could take," Dana panicked.
"Okay, calm down! Don't cry yet, hold it... I need to use the bathroom first, just wait," Ode turned away, and it took her a few minutes before she returned. She was busy with her phone when she sat beside her.
"What now?" Dana asked.
"Shut up... I'm texting your sister," she replied. She leaned forward to peek at her text, chuckling at the numerous curses she let out, but she was amused by her last message.
"Sir Dylan doesn't want to eat your 'p***y' because it smells bad... so he ate a different 'p***y,' and I know whose 'p***y' it is, but I won't tell... you'll die of jealousy!!!! Yes, it's better to be eaten up by jealousy because your fiancé is eating someone else's 'pussy.'"
Celine responded with curses to Ode's text as she called him. Ode quickly responded with curses of her own, then turned off her phone and blocked Celine.
"Wow! I feel like I'm still not satisfied with my anger," Ode remarked.
"Thank you so much, bestfriend,” Dana said as she hugged her friend. She had wanted to do that to Celine for a long time, but she was afraid of her grandparents. They raised her well even though she was far from them as she grew up. She still respected them despite the harsh treatment her family showed her.
"They've gone too far just because you didn't fight back. They think everything's okay. Maybe if they knew you were dying, instead of crying, your demon family would throw a party," Ode remarked.
"Of course Grandpa and Grandma won’t join that party," Dana replied.
"Of course, I know that. It's just annoying," Ode muttered.
"When I die, I promise to visit them often in their dreams."
"Yes, don't let them sleep, they're demons," Ode sighed deeply, glancing at her.
"When was your last menstruation?" Ode asked.
"I was fertile that night, Ode, if that's what you want to know," Dana replied, closing her eyes as she rubbed her forehead.
"Do you think something spilled inside you?" Ode asked.
"I'm not sure, but if there's a hole and it was forced because of his size and because I'm still a virgin. He struggled to insert it, so he used force; it's possible the hole enlarged, and some spilled inside me," Dana said nervously, as she had been thinking about it since earlier. Fortunately, she managed to drive her motorcycle home. Ode was her tenant in the condominium building she owned, her unit located on the floor above hers.
"Don't tell me you rode your motorcycle while you were exhausted," Ode exclaimed.
"Of course, I did. I didn't have any other transportation, Ode."
"I've told you to stop using your motorcycle. It might endanger you. What if you suddenly feel dizzy while riding and you're on the highway?" Ode scolded.
"My riding a motorcycle isn't the issue here, Ode. It's the possibility of me getting pregnant. I can't get pregnant while I have stage 4 cancer," Dana emphasized.
"Oh, God! Your sister is such a demon. We need to get the baby out, no matter what, Dana."
"But Ode, if I do that, I might end up in hell when I die. I may not have been a virgin ghost, but becoming a killer in hell is another thing."
"We really need adult help, Dana."
"Huh?"
"Abortion isn’t that an option, and given your condition, I don't think abortion would be good for you. Your body might not be able to handle it, if ever," Dana thought for a moment. There were some bruises appearing on her body, she wasn't sure if they were kiss marks from Dylan due to his aggression towards her or because of her illness. It's impossible for them to be kiss marks; Dylan would be a monstrous creature if he had left kiss marks on her body.
"We need to tell your grandma or even Daddy about your condition and situation, Dana. We can't face this alone, especially if you and Mr. Lagdameo conceive."
"Listen, I agree, I'll agree to tell them about my situation, but under no circumstances can anyone know who got me pregnant, if ever. It would be a huge mess if that were to happen, do you understand?" Ode nodded repeatedly.
"Pray that Mr. Lagdameo's blood isn't strong."
"That's if I even make it to 9 months, sis," Ode got sad with what she said, she pulled Dana close and hugged her.
"What am I going to do with you? You're so kind, why do you have to go through all of this?"
"Maybe I was bad in my past life, that's why my life is like this."
"Crazy! Your family is just demons," Ode said angrily, breaking the hug and quickly wiping away her tears.
"Let's sleep now, tomorrow we'll figure out a solution, everything will be alright. I'm always here for you, sis," Dana smiled as she hugged her friend. While silently praying that nothing would form in her womb. She didn't want any child to be involved in her situation. If it were under different circumstances, she might have considered it a jackpot to conceive a child with someone like Dylan Lagdameo, but she didn't want her child to end up like her, hidden and shameful.
