Dana followed Dylan's mother's gaze as she wandered around her condo, inspecting her belongings one by one as if assessing their cleanliness. She didn't want to let her in earlier, but Dylan's mother forcefully pushed her door open and entered after introducing herself.
Outside, two men in black who looked like bodyguards were left behind. Fortunately, Ode and Devs had just left to hang out with Ode's new boyfriend. Ode had just broken up with her boyfriend from the NBI; she thought that was her last, but Ode was really quite the playgirl.
"So, has anything happened between you and my son?" she asked directly, pretending to be seated on Dana's sofa, looking satisfied with her inspection of Dana's unit.
"What did Dylan tell you?" Dana asked.
"Nothing! He just said he wants to marry you
