CHAPTER FOUR:

"How dare he do that to me ?" she yelled and threw her purse at the dressing mirror. It was yesterday and she had told him of the proposal and today she had sent it to him and he had rejected it for the second time making her look like a desperate housewife.

"Does he know who I am ?"she yelled as Karen stood in the doorway trying to avoid whatever she was going to throw again.

He probably doesn't,she was damn popular and he was freaking supposed to know.

"I guess he does not know who I am ,how dare he reject my proposal of marriage?"

"I think you should calm down maam ."Karen said ." this shouldn't get you so angry. "

"It shouldn't get me so angry ,huh ? So what should get me angry ? Do you want me to fire you now? "

"No, no, no ," Karen said

" I didn't mean any of that ,I was just telling you to keep calm ,he will come around. "

"I wasted my whole time going to meet him at the restaurants yesterday and today I sent him and the same thing happened. "Aria turned to Karen.

"Make sure you cut every business proposal and contract we have with his company ,let him feel my wrath."

"I think you should take it easy and not get yourself worked up over nothing."Karen said in a small voice and Aria was beginning to make sense in what she was saying .

His family was influential and wealthy and him as her husband ,she will be able to get just the perfect revenge on Philip .

Besides the private investigator she had hired told her that Philip and Rosa had gotten married ,that was even perfect.

She just couldn't wait to take a sweet revenge on them all .

"I found a matchmaker." Karen said." I think we should give her a try ,I heard she's the best in New York.

"Get me a glass of vodka ."Aria commanded

"All right." Karen said and in. a few minutes time she had come back with one of the maids who handed to Aria a glass of vodka

Without waiting for any further discussion she gulped everything down and turned to Karen ,she was already boiling with so much anger and she was definitely going to break anything up right now.

"What were you saying before?" she said

"I managed to go through a matchmaker and she promised to match you up with someone very good, even better than Dominic ,but he is not in New York, he is an Arab prince."

Aria scoffed and poured herself another glass holder and gulped it all down.

"An Arab prince? I know he is too rich but that is not the person I want. I want someone who will enable me to get the perfect revenge I want on Philip and Rosa. "

Karen thought for a while ."But being married to an Arab prince will give you all the power and influence you want. "

She turned around and pushed herself into a cushion and crossed her leg after taking off her shoes ."You just won't understand it, will you?"

"Is that the only thing the matchmaker has ? why don't you find someone else for me .I want someone who lives in New York, someone powerful and wealthy."

"Nah ,"she said, brushing Karen's words off as if she was a fly." He's too old for me,he is 72 years old. "

"So what do you want?" Karen asked in a small voice.

"You know what I want ,Karen do not piss me off ,I am already angry. "

Dominic hard rejected her contract marriage twice.

" I think you should go for someone else. " Karen suggested.

"Someone like who ? " Aria asked Karen who looked lost

"I don't know ,I don't think we can find a perfect man for this. "

Aria raised her hands high up in the air .

"That is the problem. "

Then she was quiet and the anger in her kept on rising .

" I'm going to teach him a very bitter lesson that he will never forget in a hurry ,no one will refuse my proposal .No one. "

"So what is on your mind ?"Karen asked Aria

"Nothing, my mind is just as blank as a sheet of paper ."

Anyways Karen said staring at the tablet she was with.

"You have a meeting by 12:00 p.m. and I'm quite sure some of the board of directors are already in the company ,you should get going now, it's 11:45. "

She smile at herself and took another sip from the glass

"You should postpone the meeting ."

"What ! it's already 11:45 what I'm I going to tell the board of directors ?"

Aria stared at her,there was a film of anger in her eyes .

"What sort of stupid question is that? tell them to go and come back some other time ,maybe next week or next two weeks. I am kind of busy right now and I have so many things in my head. "

Karen shook her head, this was not a good idea ,this was the second time that Aria had postponed the meeting and she feared that the company might go down.

"Everything was going on fine until that turned out to be working out fine until that stupid Dominic rejected my proposal."

She stood up and walked to the window deep in thought. she was thinking about everything she was going to do, she was sure that Philip and Rosa was going to have a shock of their life when they see her in New York m

"Tell the driver to prepare the car ,I'm going out to the club. "

"But it's just morning." Karen protested weekly

Aria turned and gave her a look that was meant for the devil.

"Have you gone nuts ?"

"I'm so sorry ."she said quickly

"Seems you are really tired of your job, I can have you quickly replaced if you don't mind. "

Karen bowed and just when she was about to leave she had a beep from the tablet that she was holding and she stopped to scroll through it and immediately her eyes bulged in wonder.

"What is it ?why are you still standing there?"

Karen lifted up her eyes and a smile spread through her lips.

"There is a message from Mr Dominic Redwood ."

"I'm so ?"she asked rolling her eyes

"He has accepted your proposal and he wants the wedding to take place tomorrow."
