Between Dusk And Conscience

الفصل السادس : اعتراف . Chapter Six: Confession.

كانت قمر تقف عند حافة الشلال مثلما كانت تفعل دائما ولكن تلك المرة كان ادوارد يقف بجانبها لكي لا تتهور المرة الاخير . لتقول قمر بتذمر طفولي و هي تعقد ذراعيها : هذا ليس عدلا ... انت سوف تقفز مستمتعا الان و انا لن اقف اشاهد فقط ككل مرة .

ثم تكمل بترجي : هيا ارجوك ادوارك تلك المرة فقط .

ليقول ادوارد بصرامه و برود : لا لن يحدث ... و ان فعلتها قمر لا تلومي الا نفسك ... لاني سوف اقتلك وقتها ... هذا ان كنت ستظلين على قيد الحياة بعدها اساسا ... الموت هنا يعني الموت هناك ... اختاري انت ماذا تريدين .

لتنظر قمر الى الناحية بغضب طفولي ولكن بعد ان تركها و قفز هو و اصبح بالسفل و هو ينظر اليها و رأى وقتها ما كان يخافه انها نظرة خبث و انتصار . لتتراجع قمر الى الوراء فجأة ثم تركض باتجاة منحضر الشلال و تقفز بمرح و هي تصرخ . ليخاف ادوارد فهو لم يكن يمزح عندما اخبرها ان ذلك خطر عليها ف هو لديه ذئبه ديابلو يحميه اما هي ف هي مجرد بشرية ضعيفة . لتصل قمر الى النهاية و تقع بداخل النهر ... ليذهب ادوارد اليها بخوف و قلق ولكنه يجدها سليمة بالفعل و تخرج من اسفل النهر و هي تضحك له . ليقترب منها ادوارد بغضب على انه سيقوم بقتلها بالفعل لانها كادت ان تموت بالفعل ... و كاد هو ان يموت رعبا عليها . ولكن عندما اقترب من المكان الذي اختفت فيه ثانية ظهرت فجأة و تمسكت بيه و هي تضحك و هي تنظر اليه بانتصار و هي تقول : انا لا اصدق انني لم افعلها ولا مرة بحياتي مع انها ليست المرة الاولى التي اتي بيها الى هذا المكان . ولكن كان ادوارد بعالم اخر حيث انه لا يصدق انها قريبة منه الى ذلك الحد و تضحك له بعد ان كانت تسبه من قليل . ليقترب ادوارد و هو لا يشعر بشئ من حوله و يزيل المياه من على وجهها ثم يبعد شعرها الطويل الذي كان يلتصق بوجهها الى الخلف . كانت قمر تنظر اليه بتوتر فهي لا تعلم ماذا الذي يحدث ولكنها تفاجأة به يقترب اكثر و يقوم بتقبيلها . هي دائما كانت تعتقد ان من سيتجرأ على فعل ذلك سوف تقوم بقتله بعد ان تصفعه امام الجميع ولكنها لم تتدري بنفسها و هي تحاوط رقبته و تقربه اكثر اليها . ولكن بعد مدة تشعر قمر بشئ غريب فتقوم ب دفعه بقوة و تخرج من النهر راكضة الى المنزل ثم الى المرحاض . ليركض ورائها ادوارد ولكنه تفاجأ بدوخولها المرحاض دون ان تغلق الباب ورائها . ليدخل هو ورائها و يراها تتقئ الدماء و وجهها شاحب كالاموات . ليقترب منها ادوارد و يقف بجانبها و هو لا يصدق انه اذاها بتلك الطريقة ... فالعيش بداخل الحلم لمدة طويلة يمكن ان تؤدي الى الموت ... و هو كان انانيا عندما قام بخطفها و حبسها هنا بالاجبار لتكون معه . لتقف قمر و تقوم بغسل فمها و هو يقف بجانبها لتستند عليه و هو يقوم بغسل وجهها بحزن شديد عليها و غضب من نفسه . لتحاول قمر المشي الى الامام ولكن بدون جدوي ف جسدها لا يتحمل الحركه و اصبح لا يتحلمها ايضا ... . ليقترب منها ادوارد بحذر و يقوم بحملها بهدوء. حذر لكي لا تتعب اكثر و يصعد بها الى غرفته و يضعها على الفراش ببطئ و هدوء لكي لا تتأذى اكثر من ذلك بسببه . ولكن عندما كان سيتركها امسكت قمر يديه بتعب و جعلته يجلس امامها على الفراش و احتضنته بشده و خوف و تعب و هي تقول بصدق و دموعها تغرق وجهها : اتعلم انا لم اكن ارتاح بحياتي الواقعية ابدا كما كنت هنا معك في تلك الايام القليلة التي قمت بحبسي هنا بها ... كنت اتمنى لو استطعنا فعلها معا في الحياة الواقعية معا حقا .

لتغلق بعدها قمر عينيها باستسلام تام و ابتسامت تعب ولكن ليس بها حزن او ندم .

كانت اسيل ممدده على الاريكه بدون حياة او امل و كسيانوس يجلس بجانبها على الارض و هو يرى حالتها الجسدية و النفسية و حتى الاجتماعية لم يعودوا موجودين من الاساس ف قليلا ما تتحدث او تأكل لان صديقتها هكذا منذ اكثر من اسبوع و حالتها تسوء هي ايضا ولا تتحسن دون اي امراض ولا احد يعلم ما بيها غيره ولا يستطيع التحدث ف ليس هناك حل الا بيد صديقه الاحمق ادوارد و الذي كان انانيا بطريقة كبيرة ليفعل شئ كذلك لها و هو يعلم انها بشرية ضعيفة لن تتحمل مثلما يتحمل هو كل تلك المدة .

ولكن المفاجأة و الصدمة لهم عندما سمعوا صوت الاجهزة تعلن عن انتهاء حياة تلك البائسة التي على الفراش الى الابد . و مع ذلك الاعلان تنتفض اسيل و هي تصرخ ب اسم صديقتها و اختها و كل ما تملك بصوت ارتجفت لها المشفى باكلملها و هي تنهار امام اعين كسيانوس و ذئبه العاشق مالكيور .

Qamar was standing at the edge of the waterfall as she always did, but this time Edward was standing beside her so she wouldn't make a rash decision last time. Qamar said with childish grumbling as she folded her arms: This isn't fair... You'll jump with fun now, and I won't just stand and watch like every time. Then she continued pleadingly: Come on, please do your part just this once. Edward said sternly and coldly: No, it won't happen... And if Qamar does it, you only have yourself to blame... Qamar looked away with childish anger, but after he let go of her and jumped and was at the bottom looking at her, he saw what he feared: It was a look of malice and triumph. Qamar suddenly stepped back, then ran towards the waterfall and jumped happily while screaming. Edward was scared, he wasn't joking when he told her that it was dangerous for her, he has his wolf Diablo to protect him, but she is just a weak human. Qamar reaches the end and falls into the river... Edward goes to her with fear and worry, but he finds her safe and comes out from the bottom of the river, laughing at him. Edward approaches her angrily, thinking he will kill her because she almost died... and he almost died of fear for her. But when he approached the place where she disappeared again, she suddenly appeared and held on to him, laughing and looking at him triumphantly, saying: I can't believe I've never done this in my life, even though it's not the first time I've brought you to this place. But Edward was in another world, as he couldn't believe that she was that close to him and laughing at him after she had been cursing him a little while ago. Edward approached, not feeling anything around him, and removed the water from her face, then pushed back her long hair that was sticking to her face. Qamar was looking at him nervously, she didn't know what was happening, but she was surprised when he came closer and started kissing her. She always thought that whoever dared to do that, she would kill them after slapping them in front of everyone, but she didn't realize it herself as she surrounded his neck and brought him closer to her. But after a while, Qamar felt something strange, so she pushed him away forcefully and ran out of the river to the house and then to the bathroom. Edward ran after her, but he was surprised when she entered the bathroom without closing the door behind her. He entered after her and saw her vomiting blood and her face pale as the dead. Edward approached her and stood beside her, not believing that he had hurt her that way... Living inside a dream for a long time could lead to death... and he was selfish when he kidn*pped her and forcibly imprisoned her here to be with him. Qamar stood up and washed her mouth, while he stood beside her. She leaned on him while he washed her face, very sad for her and angry with himself. Qamar tried to walk forward but to no avail, her body could not bear the movement and could no longer tolerate it either... Edward approached her carefully and carried her gently. He was careful not to tire her out more and went up to his room and put her on the bed slowly and quietly so that she would not be hurt more because of him. But when he was about to leave her, Qamar held his hands tiredly and made him sit in front of her on the bed and hugged him tightly with fear and exhaustion and said sincerely with tears flooding her face: You know, I have never been as comfortable in my real life as I was here with you in those few days that you locked me up here... I wish we could do it together in real life, really together. Qamar then closed her eyes in complete surrender and smiled tiredly but without sadness or regret. Aseel was lying on the couch lifeless and hopeless, and Xianus was sitting next to her on the floor, seeing her physical, psychological and even social state. They no longer existed at all. She hardly spoke or ate because her friend had been like this for over a week, and her condition was also getting worse and not improving without any illnesses, and no one knew what was wrong with her except him. He could not talk, so there was no solution except in the hands of his foolish friend Edward, who was too selfish to do such a thing to her, knowing that she was a weak human who would not endure the same as he did for all that time. But they were surprised and shocked when they heard the sound of the machines announcing the end of the life of that miserable woman on the bed forever. With that announcement, Aseel shuddered and screamed the name of her friend, her sister and everything she owned, in a voice that made the entire hospital tremble as she collapsed before the eyes of Xianus and his loving wolf, Malchior.
