Meanwhile, immediately after leaving the lecturer's office, Scott headed straight to June's house. He was hoping she had already arrived home, but when he got there, he discovered that she wasn't home yet. ‎ ‎Unaware that June had stopped to greet a friend on her way home, Scott decided to wait for her. ‎ ‎June, meanwhile, headed straight home, still shocked by what she had seen. ‎The lecture was eventually canceled. ‎ ‎The students waited until they could not wait any longer, and they all went home. ‎ ‎On her way home, June briefly stopped to greet a friend, but her mind remained fixed on what she had seen in Mrs. Bennett's office. ‎ ‎When she reached home, her mother, Mrs. ‎Anderson, welcomed her. ‎ ‎She asked how the lecture was, but June pretended nothing had happened. ‎ “Mum, the lecture was good. I'm exhausted. I need to take a shower right now, eat, and rest,” she said. ‎ ‎June was about to take a step when her mother said, “That reminds me, darling. ‎ ‎Your rival is waiting for you in your room.” ‎ ‎June was shocked. ‎ ‎Rival? Since when did I have a rival waiting in my room? ‎ ‎She quickly went to her room to find out who the rival her mother was talking about. ‎ ‎To her greatest surprise, it was Scott. ‎June stared at him in shock, but at the same time, she lowered her voice, so her mother would not hear her. ‎ ‎“To hell! What are you doing here, Scott? Are you a ghost? Do you even know my house?” ‎ ‎Scott was seated comfortably on her bed, leg crossed, as if he was the owner of the room. He looked at her and said. ‎ ‎“Is that how you talk to your rival, tutor? ‎Are you not supposed to welcome me well? I mean, it's my first time in your house. It is worth celebrating.” ‎ ‎June stood there angrily. She wanted to devour him, but then she saw her diary in Scott's hand. ‎ ‎Her secret diary. ‎ ‎No one was supposed to see it or read anything in it. ‎ ‎June had always carried the Anderson name as her surname. She loved her mother dearly, and although she had never known her father. ‎ ‎One day, the woman she had always called Mother told her a bitter truth that left June resting her head in her palms for a long time. ‎ ‎She wasn't her biological daughter. ‎ ‎She had been rescued from the place where her biological mother had abandoned her. ‎June was broken. ‎ ‎She was from a different bloodline, and she didn't even know where she truly came from. ‎ ‎She had to live with the painful truth, so she wrote it all down in her little diary. ‎And now, that diary was in the hands of the one person she never wanted to have it—Scott. ‎ ‎He had the power to keep her secret. ‎ ‎or expose it. ‎ ‎She shouted, “Can you hand over the diary to me first, please? I'm serious.” ‎Scott laughed. ‎ ‎“You mean this?” he said, raising the book up. “Then come and get it.” ‎ ‎Scott had read everything in it, even though it was meant to remain a secret. ‎ ‎June was embarrassed because, with that book in his possession, her whole reputation could be ruined if everything in it was exposed. ‎ ‎June jumped on him to grab the book, but unfortunately, she couldn't grab it. ‎They ended up in an awkward position, ‎with June on top of him. ‎ ‎“Is this how you teach your rival by seducing him at his first lesson?” ‎ ‎June's mother immediately opened the door. ‎ ‎She found them in that position. ‎They immediately pulled apart. ‎ ‎“Well, I brought a glass of juice for you both.” ‎ ‎“Thank you very much, ma. Your daughter is a great tutor, Ma. I'm really enjoying the lesson.” ‎ ‎Scott spoke carelessly, not realizing the implications of what he was saying. ‎ ‎Scott looked at her and noticed that she was speechless. ‎ ‎He added, “Ma, would you like to read your daughter's diary?” ‎ ‎June shouted, “No! Mom, you have to leave now. Let me continue my lesson with my rival.” ‎ ‎Her mom shut the door. ‎ ‎“Wow, she admits I'm her rival.” ‎ ‎June snapped angrily, “I only said that to cover up so my mom wouldn't suspect us.” ‎ ‎“I don't know what you want from me and why you came to my house.” ‎ ‎Why is she acting like she saw nothing, like she didn't hear our conversation? Scott wondered. ‎ ‎“Well, I'm here for us to make a deal.” ‎“What deal?” June said. ‎ ‎“From today, you will be my tutor since you have seen my source.” ‎ ‎“What source are you talking about?” June interrupted. ‎ ‎"The source behind my academic ‎performance. The brilliant Scott, you all thought you knew. You saw me making love to Mrs Bennett because that's how i make sure i pass my exams, even without coming to classes.” ‎ ‎June was shocked. ‎ ‎“So from now on, you will be my tutor, and your job is to make sure I pass my exams.” ‎Scott said. ‎ ‎June angrily said, “I can never be a tutor to someone like you. I don't know anything about what you're doing with Mrs. Bennett, and it's none of my business.” ‎ ‎Scott raised her diary and said, “Have you forgotten this? Reject my offer, then I will expose you to the entire school.” ‎ ‎“You won't like that, right?” ‎ ‎June was speechless because exposing her with the diary was something she couldn't imagine happening. ‎ ‎“Please, can you hand the diary over to me?” she pleaded. ‎ “I think today's lesson is over. I have to go. See you in school tomorrow.” ‎ ‎June attempted to hold him back, but Scott opened the door and left the room. ‎ ‎June felt sick immediately. ‎ ‎She sat on her bed, tears filling her eyes. ‎ ‎She started questioning herself. ‎ ‎Why did I go to Mrs. Bennett's office? ‎And why did Scott Parker suddenly become a problem in my life? ‎
