"Thanwa, where did Dad go?"
"He went to check the warehouse with Payu and told me to stay and take care of you." Thanwa placed some freshly squeezed orange juice and a few snacks on the glass table for Farin.
"Has he been gone for long?" She had woken up to find him gone, with only a note saying 'Be back soon' left on the bedside table.
"About an hour. If you need anything else, just let me know."
"Thank you." She gave a gentle smile, then picked up a snack from the plate. She grabbed the remote to flip through channels, trying to ward off her boredom.
