The shockwave tears through the ridge like the sky itself has collapsed. There is no warning. No sound at first. Only a force that slams into every living thing in its path. The rogues fly backward as if a giant hand has swept them aside. Bodies flip through the air. Claws scrape rock as they try to save themselves. Dust erupts in a thick, choking cloud. Stones rip free from the cliff face. Whole sections of the ridge explode outward. Splinters of rock shoot past me in a storm of sharp edges and silver light. The ground vanishes under my feet.
