I pull in a sharp breath through my teeth , my eyes flicking between Kai's stark blue ones . His pupils are so fully dilated that my fingers tremble . He's furious , lethally furious . I can feel it in the way his fingers twitch around throat , his grib tight , yet not tight enough to cut off any oxygen from flowing down to my lungs . I inhale a deep breath and examine his face with wide eyes .
