“Why do you act like you know everything?” George asked as he took another step back in annoyance. He tried to hide his emotions but he was unsuccessful.
“Maybe I don’t know everything but then tell me… what were you going to do with the necklace after you take it back?” Pesco asked in a steady voice as he tilted his head to the side, his eyes looked as if they already knew the answer.
“I… it’s none of your business.” George said while crossing his arms.
“You were going to sell it, right?” Pesco questioned with a cold gaze that looked though the other as if he was nothing but an insignificant bug standing before him.
