“Am I unlovable?” George’s eyes were serious and so was his voice as he asked that. The atmosphere in the room changing significantly as the tears that streaked down his face increased by the second. He couldn’t control his emotions as well when he was under the influence of alcohol. His tongue was loose and so was his mind.
“I don’t think so.” Steve replied with a genuine answer. Although he would have preferred to avoid answering it, if possible, he knew it would cause the other even more distress if he didn’t reply to him.
