“Yes, insurance, so I hired new guards to help me out here…” Pesco repeated himself as he watched the other’s horrified look as he noticed the familiar faces.
“Hm?” Lucas tried to act like he was as calm and collected as ever but it was difficult as he was faced with the same guards that quit working for him recently. ‘So that’s where they went…’ He thought to himself while holding back the urge to ask too many questions.
“Though I’m sure you already know each other already. Introductions won’t be necessary.” Pesco spoke as he glanced across the room and met Andrea’s eyes, she had a knowing look on her face and actively avoided meeting with Lucas’s eyes as well, as if making it obvious she had changed sides.
