“Ah… but first I have something I want from you.” Thomas stopped himself as he turned back around towards the man. He extended his hand and waited as if the other could read his mind and predict exactly what he wanted.
“What’s that?” Pesco asked, also stopping midway and looking at the man’s extended hand.
“The green pendant you have, I heard you got it from Gregory. I want it.” Thomas made his intentions known easily.
“…….why?” Pesco asked while raising an eyebrow. To the best of his knowledge, this pendant didn’t hold any significance at all, it wasn’t expensive and it wasn’t special or rare in any way either. It only held sentimental value as the last thing that was left from Gregory. So why would the other man want it? Was it simply to taunt him?
