“What do you look all lost in the gutter for?” Jennifer asked as he turned to the man that stared aimlessly at his computer screen but wasn’t doing much work at all.
“No reason.” George replied as he corrected one of his previous mistakes. It seemed like his mind was elsewhere and he couldn’t focus despite how hard he tried.
“It’s not like you to be that serious, quit it already. Where’s the girl?” Jennifer scolded the man quickly and then turned to look around as he asked.
“Nana isn’t at work these days, she has to take some exams in school.” George explained as he closed the taps on his computer and leaned back into his chair. He looked tired already and barely half of the work day had ended at that point.
