Dustin was so tongue-tied he could only nod and say, “Yeah.” Recognizing his discomfort and knowing full well she was the reason, Christy gave his arm a squeeze and moved away, but not before saying, “I’ll see you in school tomorrow. Don’t be surprised if I ask you to verify what I tell my friends.” As soon as Aunt Fiona dropped him off, Dustin bolted for his room. Cyber killing failed to captivate him for the first couple of hours, but by nightfall the aggressive hostility returned. The Angel Magda prayed that the morning’s events would be enough. When Dustin Hague awoke the next day he had forgotten all about the church service and the divine visitation of Christy Simpson. In the dark recesses of his mind Feez went to work, reminding him of the glory that awaited only hours from now.
