The room was a powder keg, the tension between Julian, Sophia, and Isabella palpable. Alexandra felt like she was walking on eggshells, unsure of what would happen next.
Isabella's eyes flashed with anger as she turned to Sophia. "How dare you," she spat. "You have no right to interfere in Julian's life."
Sophia's smile was like a razor, cutting through the air with precision. "I have every right," she said, her voice dripping with malice. "You see, Isabella, I know all about Julian's past. And I know all about your secrets."
Julian's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in anger. "What are you talking about, Sophia?" he growled.
Sophia's eyes locked onto Julian's, a glint of triumph in their depths. "I'm talking about your real parents, Julian," she said, her voice dripping with drama. "I'm talking about the reason you were adopted."
Isabella's face went white, her eyes wide with fear. "Sophia, please," she whispered.
But Sophia was relentless, her words pouring out like a flood. "Julian, you were adopted because your real parents were involved in some very shady dealings," she said, her voice dripping with malice. "They were part of a criminal organization, Julian. And they were murdered."
The room fell silent, the only sound the stunned gasps of Alexandra and Julian. Julian's face was ashen, his eyes wide with shock.
Isabella's eyes flashed with anger, her face twisted in a snarl. "You'll pay for this, Sophia," she spat.
But Sophia just smiled, her eyes glinting with triumph. "I'm not afraid of you, Isabella," she said, her voice dripping with confidence. "I'm not afraid of anyone."
As the tension in the room reached a boiling point, Alexandra felt like she was caught in the middle of a deadly game. She didn't know what to believe, or who to trust.
But as she looked at Julian, she saw something there, something that gave her hope. She saw a glimmer of determination, a spark of courage.
And she knew that she would stand by him, no matter what.
"Julian, I..." she started, but he cut her off.
"Don't, Alexandra," he said, his voice low and rough. "I need to know the truth. I need to know who I am."
As Julian's eyes locked onto Sophia's, Alexandra felt a shiver run down her spine. She knew that she was about to witness something explosive, something that would change everything.
And she was right.
"You want to know the truth, Julian?" Sophia sneered, her eyes glinting with malice. "Fine. I'll tell you. But you're not going to like it."
As Sophia's words hung in the air, Alexandra felt like she was holding her breath. She knew that she was about to hear something that would change everything.
And she was right.
