Her
She was weak to the core, casually blinking her eyes and awaiting the moment of death. She wasn't sure why Tyler rejected her, or what he had against her. However, she was certain she'd take revenge on him.
As she tried to close her eyes once more, she heard footsteps approaching her cell.
"Raina, Raina!"
The person shouted with hushed tones,
She managed to open her eyes,
"I have come to help you escape."
"Astrella?"
Astrella was her private maid. She was always loyal.
"I couldn't stand and watch Alpha Tyler kill you. Even if I must die, I must help you escape. Come, let's go."
Weakly, Astrella helped Raina get out of the cell. She had bribed some of the prison guards before then and many were in support of her. The escape wasn't hard.
"Listen, Raina. You were given a little dose of the poison ricin in your food. That's the same that was given to Alpha Demitri who took his life. You have to hurry up, and head to the north. Meanwhile, I have prepared a few potions for you from my witch aunt to prevent the poison from acting up. You must head north, towards Aunderbridge. Alpha Tyler may suspect the Moonlight Pack or the Utopian Pack, but never the Frankincense Pack, as we are enemies with them. "
Raina tried to listen to Astella's hushed voice, although it was quite difficult as she could barely see. Astrella helped her get into the horse prepared for Raina, aiding in her departure.
Before Raina left, she glanced back at the BloodMoon Pack,
"I will come to take my position back, Tyler. You count on that!"
She journeyed for days, only stopping to sip from the potion Astrella had prepared for her. She could feel her wolf slowly drifting away but she tried to stay strong, putting revenge as her top priority.
After riding nonstop for five days, her horse gave up on her. She only had her wolf remaining. She changed into her wolf and weakly continued moving further, hate driving her to keep moving.
"To avenge my father's death. To take back my position. To destroy Tyler. To take back my position. To find my mother's killer. To take back my position."
She recited these words with every move until she ran out of the potion and slowly, the poison began reacting to her system. She kept moving even though her wolf was getting unconscious, even though she could barely see. She ran further until she unknowingly sped through a cliff and fell into the river.

Him
Having everything, yet owing nothing. If he could turn back time. If Money could buy wealth.
He counted his days weakly. Only three months left to live. Day by day, he became a shadow of himself. His deteriorating health weakened his sense of reasoning. He was now in hiding, spending the remainder of his life as a different person.
If only he could turn back the hands of time.
Karma indeed was his primary enemy, taking away everything and, at the same time giving him everything. He was lost in retribution for his deeds. His curse was high upon his head.
Raphael was already giving up on his quest to find a cure - a way to live again. He was already giving up on life itself.
He had nobody to be with him. No family, no friends, nobody. They were all gone, none were present when he needed them the most.
He walked to the Gyandi River, deciding to put an end to the circus of a life.
The punishment for sin is always fatal -
Greed takes a toll on people's lives.
This was his time to die. For the thousand lives he was responsible for to finally rest in peace.
As Raphael was about to fall into the river, his nostrils were filled with the sweet but dangerous scent of a dying wolf.
Was this a sign?
Had the moon goddess given him a second chance at life?
Was he about to save a soul?
Out of impulse, he dived into the water and instantly brought out the unconscious wolf. He could tell by her hair that she was from the Blood Moon pack. Without thinking twice, he carried her out of the water. Fortunately, she was still breathing. However, the paleness of her skin made him realize she needed urgent medical attention. He could smell poison in her system. He knew she would die if he did not get a doctor for her.

"I found traces of the poison ricin in her system. Thankfully, not so much that would kill her. I was able to resuscitate her. However, she needs to be given adequate food and water. Also, the potion must be given to her regularly."
He listened attentively to the physician's words. He was angry - so angry. Why would anyone plot to kill her? What crime did she commit that caused her to be given such punishment?
" Thank you for saving her."
"I'll come tomorrow to check up on her."
The physician bowed and left.
Ansel stared at the plain beauty in front of him. He'd never felt so different about a woman in his entire life. He wasn't sure what crime she committed and why she was found floating in the river. However, he was certain that his heart skipped a beat the moment he found her.
He had the urge to protect her - to make her safe. To be with her through the remainder of his life. He saw her as his salvation - he was going to nurse her back to health and take revenge on whoever was responsible for her situation.

He sat by the lake, taking deep breaths. Her execution would be in a few hours, yet, it seemed so wrong. He had what he fought for, but still, he had no peace.
His hands longed to explore different places in her body. His ears ached to hear her moan. His fangs twitched, wanting to dig itself into her soft neck. He wanted to grab her close to him, capturing her in his wild fantasy. Why did she have to betray him?
"We would have made a great couple, butterfly. I, however, do not forgive betrayal easily. "
As he continued to fantasize, her Beta walked to him,
"Talk to me," Tyler spoke out.
"Through several investigations, I was able to find out that the castor plant was given to Raina as a gift from her mother. This is why she holds it with so much treasure. "
He shrugged,
" I never asked you to find out its history. You may leave my... "
" While cleaning the old Alpha's chambers, I discovered a secret compartment with letters that held several conversations, one of which came from the witch of the west. The witch asked the receiver to let the plant grow with the most oblivious person. "
Before he could process any more of his Beta's words, a guard rushed towards him,
"Alpha, Raina Jackson just escaped!"
