I arrive at reception and greet the receptionist with a big smile, shaking her hand. Upon noticing it’s me, she calls me over so I stop and approach her desk.
“Hello, I would like to introduce myself officially,” she says, standing behind the desk and extending her hand for me to shake. “I’m London, the receptionist of the receptionists,” she laughs. “We will talk if necessary, so I think it’s good that we get to know each other formally.”
‘Why is she laughing so much?’
“Nice to meet you, London,” I shake her hand politely. “I’m Barbara Collins, Mr. Reed’s personal assistant.”
“I know...” She laughs softly. “Actually, many of us already know.”
