I take another sip of my coffee, listening to my mother tell me everything Chris did yesterday. I laugh quietly, knowing that she managed to convince Kevin to go ice skating after work. I was too mentally exhausted last night to have a conversation, and Cedric really pushed me to the point of exploding for the rest of the afternoon.
