When Loric and Laud got home, Icarus saw them and looked at Sot.
“They gave their clothes out in town,” Sot explained. Loric and Laud went to their rooms and got ready for bed.
In the middle of the night, Laud sneaked into Loric’s room.
“I think that’s why they let them steal the harvest,” Laud said the moment he entered the room.
Loric was confused for a moment but understood with a little time.
“I will wait for them and tell them it is okay. They don't need to steal from the storehouse,” Laud said, he sat by the window and looked out waiting. Birds chirped and trees waved with the wind.
