Chapter 12-Cassandra is Missing.

Margo comes home from class and saw Ava looking like she had seen a ghost. Ava was staring at the back door for some reason. Then her phone suddenly rings and looks at the screen UNKNOWN number.

“Hello Margo,” said a familiar voice.

“Lucius, what do you want? How did you get my number?” Margo questioned him.

“I got it from Cassandra’s phone. By the way I have a picture to send you.” Lucius said. Doing so, the sound of a notification popped up.

The picture was of Cassandra tied up. She looked terrible and very tired. It was hard to look at. It seemed to be the same place where she was held hostage.

“What did you do to her you sick bastard?” Margo sneered.

“Nothing but a little magic pick me up if you know what I mean.” Lucius replied wink face emoiji.

“That don’t help with the fact you kidn*pped her for that. Give her back to me alive,” Margo desperate.

“Sorry. No can do. Unless, you give me what I mean or I will go after the young werewolf next.” Lucius threaten. The line went dead so after.

Suddenly, desperate wanting her friend alive would only mean giving her magic to him. That was not going to happen. Ava needed to be safe too. It would mean they would have to search the woods for Cassandra.

“We have a problem. Lucius kidn*pped Cassandra. “Margo said.

“I heard the conversation Margo. You want to play dog by sniffing her scent?” Ava sarcastically said, “Sorry, no can do. I felt someone watching me coming home from school.

As if on cue, there was a knock at the door. Margo opened it. Serena was standing there with Thomas. Margo looks at Ava to ask,”Did you tell anyone you were staying with me?”

“I only told Serena. Clearly, she blabbering to my brother.” Ava gave Serena incredulously look.

Margo only gestured for both of them to come in by waving her arm. They both entered.

Thomas stepped forward and said, “Sorry intrude but I needed to know that my sister was safe is all.”

“Clearly, your sister is fine. ”Margo annoyed suddenly and looks at Serena too.

“Thomas. I think we should go.” Serena insisted. Tugging on his sleeve and pulling towards the door.

Thomas wanted to say something to Margo but he couldn’t voice it. He wanted to thank Margo for giving his sister a place to stay. Just turned his back and left with Serena. Ava stood up and said, “I don’t know what that was but it was weird.”

Margo raised an eyebrow and replied, “No kidding.”

“How are we going to get Cassandra back? We need a plan” Ava asked.

“I honestly don’t know but we need to think fast before anything else happens to her.” Margo perplexed by the situation.

Lucius looked at Cassandra and who was still sobbing from the magic extraction. He was still not satisfied but he couldn’t take too much without fully draining her. Instead, he paid Thomas a visit at the university frat house.

Thomas was in room just doing homework. Lucius knocked on the door frame. Thomas looked up and asked,”You have bad timing getting back to people you know”

“Sorry, I was busy with other engagements at the moment. I went to see your sister.” Lucius said.

Thomas looked up at that statement. He only said,” Leave her alone.”

“Why?” Lucius questioned.

“Because she is going through a lot at the moment. Ava doesn’t need you to be involved with her problems. I know you want Margo. You stick to your plan by getting her. I need to focus on getting my dad out of the police watchful eye.” Thomas interjected.

Lucius doesn’t respond and leaves to do whatever else he needed to do. Thomas got back to whatever he was working on.

Thomas calls his father.

Kaleb answers on the first ring and asks, “What’s wrong Thomas?”

“Nothing. Lucius came by. He has the other witch but didn’t get Margo. I think he might do something rash and not stick to his plan. Should I call Magnus?” Thomas questioned.

“No, don’t call Magnus. It would cause a problem. Just stick to your side of the plan.” Kaleb says and hangs up.
