Powers Awakened

Margo and Cassandra were hanging out at Cassandra’s house thinking about the strange encounter with the two teenage girls that approached them. They thought the encounter was clearly unexpected and did not know what to think after they had left Turbo Grill. The one thing that clearly did not make sense how the girl Ava did not know her father was hunter. Clearly, was not aware of her family doing what they were to supernaturals. Her father kidn*pped her and luckily escaped when she did or ended up Henry Newman. She was thinking about all this while making popcorn and she started to smell something burning.

“Oh crap,” Margo said. Rushing over to the microwave and opening but it caught on fire in the process.

Cassandra comes rushing in and said, “What are you doing?”

"Nothing it just into flames when I was thinking about earlier today. This just happened I swear.” Margo explained.

Grabbing the fire extinguisher and spray the heck out of it until the fire was out, Cassandra took the microwave out back. She came back in and told Margo, “ You should buy me a microwave since you ruined this one.”

“I did not mean to but if you insist,” Margo said.

“I think our night is ruined and I think you should go.” Cassandra told Margo.

Margo grabbed her stuff and headed home.

As she got in the door and check to see if anyone was home, Margo thought about making tea. The weird part was as she was thinking about it, the teapot on the stove turned on. It baffled Margo that it occurred upon entering the kitchen. Margo tries thinking about the candles being lit in the living room. She went to go check and they all had their wicks lit.

They she texted Cassandra about it.

Margo: I think my powers are awakening. I thought about it and just happens. Like I was thinking about making tea and the teapot on the stove started boiling. I did the same with candles. It was weird.

Cassandra: Show me pictures of the candles.

Margo sent Cassandra a picture of the living room.

Cassandra: I am coming over.

There was a knock on the door soon after. Margo opens the door and Cassandra comes rushes in. Cassandra walks to the living room and stares at the candles, “You were just thinking about them being lit and it happened? Is that what happened with my microwave?”

“You can say that?” Margo admitted. She clearly was not sure though.

Cassandra saw the mirror and asked, “What about the mirror?”

“I did that when I was angry at my parents. It kind of just broke.” Margo replied, “ that was also the night when they revealed the truth to me. It could also explain my headaches too”

“I think your headaches could be like a warning system for when you are in danger. The broken mirror is telekinesis. The other ability you have I never heard of before.” Cassandra said, “It’s entirely new to me.”

Cassandra was stumped on what to do. She only thought about telling Margo’s parents about it. It would cause more of a rift for the council too. She would keep this info to herself for now. It was surely going to cause a stir for Wentz Family since their feud was just on the mend.

Cassandra and Margo spent the entire night talking about it. They truly didn’t know what other abilities Margo had yet. It was a start to something for sure and what could it mean for her?

Cassandra feared for her friend. It really scares to know this could be her.
