The next day arrived, Amor came out of the cab and sighed after checking out the Great Holland building. It's a skyscraper, and it's massive. Her eyes widened more as she stared at the crowd that came for interview.
"It's still 6:30 in the morning". She muttered, almost losing hope already, she looked at her bag before joining the crowd. She took number sixty.
A few minutes later, Adam arrived, and the interview began. Everyone that went inside always came out with a sad face, some didn't spend seconds in the office before going out. Finally, number 60 was called and Amor went in with all hope lost. If people that finished their college were chased out, then who is she?
"Good morning sir", Amor greeted him with a bow and, her usual smiling face. Adam couldn't reply to her greetings, he just kept on checking her out.
"Sir?" Amor broke the silent.
"Have your seat" Adam said and, Amor sat down after muttering "thank you".
"Your name?" Adam asked.
"I am Amor Buenevista", Amor replied.
"Miss Amor, you are here for the position of the secretary of Great Holland, you should know there is a lot to do, right?" Adam asked with a smile.
"Yes sir, trust me, you are really going to enjoy my work here" Amor said.
"You are employed" Adam said and, Amor almost gasped.
"You haven't check my credentials" Amor said.
"You arrive at the office before 7 and the problem you will be having as a secretary is that you will only leave when the boss is out of the company. You know the other things to do, right?" Adam said and Amor only nodded.
"I see you are dressed for the job already, it's just 8, you can start your work today. Let me show you your office and drop your credentials at the boss's office," Adam said as he showed her the secretary's office and told her some of the things she would be doing.
Minutes later, Amor got out of her office. Her office was beside Nataniel's office. She looked at her credentials that were in her hands.
"I pray he doesn't check this out too", She muttered before knocking, but no one responded. She decided to enter the office but found no one. She dropped the credentials and jumped up crazily.
"I can't believe I got the job" she screamed inwardly. The thought of her boss checking her credentials had left her mind. The only thing that was in her mind was the fact that she got the job out of many people. Wasn't she blessed?
Amor turned her back, and gasped. A man dressed corporately with a guard carrying his suitcase was beside him. He had a cold expression on his face. A normal human can't tell his feelings. He just stood there staring at her, and Amor was doing the same too. The guard dropped the suitcase before leaving. Both of them stared at each other.
"Boss, you are here?" Adam walked in and bowed to him. Nataniel didn't say anything, he kept on looking at Amor.
"Oh, she is the new secretary. Miss Amor Buenevista," Adam said, but Nataniel didn't reply. Amor regained her consciousness and bowed to him.
"Good...... Good morning boss" Amor said.
"Leave my office, return in 5 minutes with my schedule", Nataniel said, before going to his seat. Amor stared at him before leaving. Adam followed her too.
"He is cold, right?" Adam asked.
"Yeah" Amor replied.
"He is always like that, just don't get on his bad side" Adam said before facing her. They both stopped walking.
"Adam," Adam said before, bringing his hand for a handshake.
"Amor," Amor said with a smile.
"Don't just get on his bad side, you are going to enjoy your stay here, Pretty" Adam said before leaving.
"Nice" Amor muttered before checking her wristwatch. "2 minutes gone" she muttered before running to her office.

At Nataniel's office, Nataniel stared at the coffee on his table.
"So fast" he muttered before grabbing the coffee, it's just the way he likes it. He drank everything in the cup before dropping it.
A few minutes later, he began to feel some strange things in his body.
Scenes of what happened at the college flashed into his memory, but it wasn't clear.
"What's happening to me today?" He muttered before removing his black suit. He increased the coldness of the AC, but none of it seemed to work.
He began to feel his thing rising. He rushed to his restroom before washing himself. He continued washing himself but none of it seemed to work.
"Arggghhhhhh". He screamed and punched his fist at the wall. To him, it felt as if history was about to repeat itself.

Amor muttered some silent prayer to herself before knocking on the door. But no one replied. She opened the door slowly before entering the office.
"Boss? " She called out, but no one replied. "Boss? Sir?" Amor called out, louder this time. She was getting scared already. Then she heard someone screaming.
"Arggghhhhh" Her attention went to the direction where the scream came from. She began shivering from where she was.
What if something happens?
What if someone came to do something for her new boss?
What if they killed him, and she got blamed for it?
Different thoughts filled her head, she heard another sound again like someone hitting something on the wall, and she got scared. She wanted to go out and call someone, but who did she want to talk to about this except Adam, and she didn't even know his office.
She walked slowly and gently towards the door of the restroom as if she was counting her steps. She got to the door and was about to open it but stopped again. She finally opened the door and gasped before rushing to Nataniel, who was sweating profusely. He was looking like a dead being already. His eyes widened when he saw that it was Amor that came in. He ran to her and gripped her down. He wanted to control himself, but it seemed impossible.
"Please don't do this again?" Amor muttered almost in tears.
