I kept mute, not uttering a single word as I still lowered my head. They seemed to care about me, as he was not willing to let me go out in the middle of the night. I could feel their gaze fixed on me as the silence in the room grew significantly louder. I took a deep breath, waiting for someone to talk so that I could talk.
