Not long after, the nurse arrived with the kit and started to dress the wound. They all watched with pale faces except for my father who still had a straight face on. “He has not asked me what happened in the garden. Or have they but told him yet?” I asked myself and suddenly groaned in pain as she added some liquid to the surface of the wound.
“Sorry, young alpha. I would not take much time anymore.” The nurse apologized. I had the urge to talk back at her angrily but decided to calm my nerves. “After all, she was only doing her job.” I thought and then inhaled deeply to numb all the pain. I opened my eyes quickly as Sonia's voice followed.
