Helen's POV
I almost missed my way back to my room, but I was able to find my way. My hand was still clenched to my slapped face, as I walked rapidly through the hallway. My heart faster as I walked and suddenly, I heard a strange voice, forcing me to halt my steps immediately. From the way she talked, I guessed that she was an important member of the pack, perhaps the Luna.
I peeked from the corner to see and my gaze fell on a woman who looked early forties. She was heavily dressed and from the way that she was dressed, I needed no one to tell me that she was the Luna of the pack, Levi's Mom. I waited anxiously there, wishing that she moved away quickly so that I could run into my room, but she still stood there. I scoffed silently as tears began to drop from my eyes.
