Zane whirled around but before Rory could flinch, Zane wagged a finger in his face. “Like you said a minute ago, ‘quit it.” Zane turned back to the door and made another attempt at inserting the key. “Bet she gave us the wrong key.” Rory thought that unlikely as the large plastic fob bore the number 303, as did the door. “Want me to try?” “I can open it.” Zane sounded testy. No, frustrated was probably more accurate. “Give me the dessert then.” Zane grumbled—even that was sexy—and handed over the box.
