Ignorance

Kevin smiled slowly and wrapped his hands around her. Their friends coughed loudly and they pulled apart. Kevin scratched his neck nervously and smiled at Bixel.

"Thanks," He said and she just looked away and walked out of the school.

Scott and Stiles rushed to Kevin and poked him.

"Oh someone is in love." Malissa teased and he glared at her. He laughed as Scott and Stiles kept teasing him.

"Stop it guys I don't like her." He laughed carrying his bag.

"Bye." He yelled and jumped to his house.

Bixel walked into the house and paused when she saw her house black.

"Nicki." She called looking around and all she could see was blank.

She suddenly saw blood dripping to her feet and she looked up to see something written on the wall with blood.

"Death, Mystery, Vengeance." She read out loud and flinched.

She suddenly heard her name and passed out on the floor.

Kevin got home and sighed when he found the house empty, he jumped to the kitchen and drank water, he jumped back to the living room and flinched when he saw his mum walking in.

"Hey mum, you are home early today." He said surprised and his mum smiled.

His mother is a doctor and she is always working all the time and hardly gets a break.

"Yeah, I took a break cause I was so so exhausted."

He nodded and hugged her, he remembered how he jumped into the past and sniffed.

"Kevin, are you crying?" His mother asked wrapping her hands around him.

"I miss dad so much." He muttered and she smiled.

"It's okay Kevin, I also miss him."

He smiled and pulled away from the hug.

"I love you, mum."

"I love you too baby."

The next day the friends all stood outside the school waiting for Kevin, they have always walked into school together ever since they became friends and Kevin is nowhere to be found.

"Ugh, he has the superpower to jump wherever he wants to, why isn't he here yet?" Malissa groaned loudly.

Kevin opened his eyes and found himself still on the bed.

"s**t am late." He yelled and jumped into the bathroom.

He hurriedly took his bath and jumped back to the room.

He got dressed and jumped into his mum's room to still meet her sleeping.

He jumped to where his friends always wait for him.

"Malissa, Kevin is about to bump into you," Stiles warned but it was too late as Kevin bumped into her and she zapped him accidentally and he fell in pain.

"Ohh am so sorry Kevin even though you deserve it for coming late." She mocked and he kept groaning in pain.

"What is wrong with him, his body looks like a hologram." Emily shrieked and they tried touching him but couldn't cause he looked like he was fading.

"Malissa what did you do to him?" Scott asked and she kept staring at him feeling guilty.

Bixel saw them from afar and walked to them, she looked down and saw Kevin groaning in pain.

She looked at Malissa and sighed. She bent down and touched Kevin, she looked at him as he closed his eyes and groaned in pain.

She stood up and kept staring at him.

"What should we do?" Stiles asked and Bixel raised her hand signifying them to hold on.

Slowly his body changed to normal and he stood up slowly.

"What the hell did you do to me?" He yelled at Malissa and she sighed. Bixel ignored them and walked away.

It was finally lunch break and the five friends sat at their table having lunch but Bixel sat down on the floor where she always sits.

"Guys she is alone again," Scott said as they watched her read a textbook.

"Maybe we should try getting her to talk," Emily suggested.

"But she won't respond." Malissa pointed out.

"Am going to go talk to her," Kevin said and they laughed.

"She ignores you all the time and you think she will answer you?" Malissa mocked and he shrugged.

"I would give it a try first." He muttered and stood up. He walked to her and sat down beside her.

He turned to her and smiled at her even though she wasn't paying attention to him but her book.

"Hey, Bixel." He greeted and she ignored him.

"Am talking to you Bixel." He said and she still ignored him by paying full attention to her book.

"Bixel." He called again and held her hand, she suddenly turned to him and he let go of her immediately seeing the color of her eyes.

"Why don't you talk to anyone?" He asked and she closed the textbook. She stood up with her bag and walked out of the cafeteria, his friends burst into laughter and he ignored them.

"She will talk to me one day." He muttered and sat on his seat.

The school finally ended on that day and Bixel walked home slowly. On her way home she suddenly bumped into a guy, she was about to fall but he held her before she could.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked in a cool way and she nodded slowly.

"Are you sure? You kind of seem lost for a second."

Bixel didn't answer him and he smirked.

"Well see you again someday." He muttered and walked away from Bixel. She kept glancing at him till she couldn't see him anymore before she turned and head home.

"Am home mum!" She yelled and her younger sister ran towards her and hugged her.

"Okay, you hugged me which means you want something so what do you want?"

"I was wondering if you could teach me how to create solar energy?"

"No freaking way."

"Come on I just gave you a hug?"

"Yeah so?"

"It means you should be touched and help me that way."

"Well, I don't feel touched, maybe some other time kiddo." She said and ruffled her hair. Nicki groaned and fell on the couch.

"Where is mum?"

"She went to get something."

"Okay then, I will be in my room."

THE NEXT DAY

Bixel walked into the class late and everyone turned to her.

"Bixel, why are you late?" The teacher asked and she ignored him and took her seat.

After a while, the door opened and the students looked up to see the principal with a new student.

"Hello, students meet Mark Sharon, our new student." He introduced and Bixel sighed remembering he was the guy she met yesterday.
