The New Student

"I want you guys to be of your best behavior towards him." The Principal added and walked out.

"Take a seat Mark." The teacher said and he smiled before sitting down beside Bixel at the back. He suddenly turned to her and smiled. He recognized her as the girl he met yesterday.

Bixel ignored him and he chuckled before facing the teacher. Kevin scoffed seeing his gestures towards Bixel and faced the teacher angrily.

The first period was over and it was time for them to move to another class for their lessons. Bixel stood up slowly and Mark stood up with her.

"Hey." He greeted her again and she ignored him.

"The new guy seems to like Bixel a lot," Scott said and Kevin scoffed as they all walked out of class.

Mark walked behind with Bixel as they head towards the class.

"You don't talk much." He chuckled and Bixel glanced at him a bit before looking away.

"Okay, can I at least know your name?" He asked and she ignored him.

"Am not going to stop until you talk to me." He talked again and she still ignored him.

They got to the class and Mark sat beside Bixel. Kevin stared at them as he kept talking to Bixel.

"You are staring a lot Kevin, you should stop," Stiles said and he nodded before turning to the teacher.

It was finally lunch break and the news of a new student who looks cute had gone like wildfire. Immediately Mark walked out of the class girls rushed to him and he smiled surprised.

"He is cute though," Emily muttered and Stiles turned to her.

"You too?" He asked and she giggled.

"Kevin stop glaring at him, he did nothing wrong," Scott said and he scoffed before heading to the cafeteria.

The five friends sat at their table and ate together. Screams suddenly filled the cafeteria as Mark walked in.

"Of course." Kevin scoffed as girls rushed to him.

Mark finally spoke to the girls and they walked away from him, he looked around the cafeteria and smiled when his eyes landed on Bixel. He walked towards her and sat on the floor beside her.

"Hey, it's me again." He chuckled and she ignored him.

"Why won't you talk to me?" He asked and she ignored him.

"Come on." He sighed and shrugged.

"If you wouldn't talk to me then I will stay with you all day." He smiled and watched her as she read her textbook.

"Can't he just let her be?" Kevin asked angrily and his friends looked at him.

"Don't tell me you're jealous." Malissa mocked him and he decided to ignore her.

"Bixel doesn't talk to anyone so she won't answer him," Emily said and Scott shrugged.

"I don't care about any of that, all I want to know is why we have these weird and mysterious powers," Scott said and chewed his food.

Lunch break was finally over and Bixel stood up, Mark stood up and followed her as she walked out of the cafeteria.

"Won't you get upset that am following you everywhere you go and yell at me?" Mark asked as he walked beside Bixel. He was about to say something else when girls rushed to him and Bixel used that opportunity to get away from him.

"Hey girls." He smiled and they giggled happily.

"Do you guys know why that girl I was with doesn't talk or is it just me?"

"Oh, you mean Bixel?" One of the girls asked.

"Is that her name?"

"Yes, she has never said a word to anyone or anything since she started this school." Another girl answered and he nodded wondering why.

"Alright, ladies thanks for the answer but I have to go now." He said and they all whined.

"Can I get a peck?" One of the girls asked and he smiled.

"Sure." He replied and pecked her, all giggled and he chuckled before walking away from them.

He got to class and sat on his seat which was beside Bixel. He smiled and stared at her as she wrote something in her book.

He suddenly felt like someone was looking at him and he looked up to see Kevin glaring at him.

He gave him a questioning look and Kevin scoffed before looking away. Mark shrugged not understanding what just happened.

The school was finally over and as Bixel stood up the five friends and Mark rushed to her.

"Bixel we need to talk to you," Scott said and she nodded.

"Hey, guys." Mark greeted and they smiled at him except Kevin.

"Hey, Mark." Emily giggled and Stiles scoffed.

"Hey." He replied and smiled.

"You guys communicate with her?" He asked and they shrugged.

"Somehow."

"How?"

"None of your business." Kevin snapped and he chuckled cause he noticed the way he has been looking at him.

"Okay then, bye guys." He smiled and walked out of the school. Bixel turned to them as she carried her bag properly.

"Finally he is gone," Kevin muttered and smiled at Bixel but she looked away.

"So Bixel we were wondering if you could tell us the reason why we have powers," Scott said and gave her a book with a pen.

"I have no idea." She wrote and they sighed.

"Could you at least think of something?" Stiles asked and she shook her head.

"But can't we control it?" Emily asked and she shrugged.

"Okay thanks, bye," Malissa said and they head out of the class but Kevin stood behind and stood in the presence of Bixel.

"Hi." He greeted her nervously and she just kept staring at him.

"Okay, I was wondering if we could like you know get to know each other better.." He trailed off seeing the way she was staring at him and his palms became sweaty. He couldn't control his emotions and he started turning to a hologram.

His friends watched him from the door and Malissa kept recording it.

"Bixel I was wondering if we could..."

Bixel cut him off by walking out of the class and Malissa burst into laughter.

"She really doesn't like you." His friends laughed and he sighed feeling hurt.
