BIXEL HIGH

Chapter Two

Bixel finally got home after a long walk and ran into her mother on the porch, her mother sighed in relief on seeing her and pulled her in. She was just about to look for her.

She gave her mother a questioning look and her mother pointed to her glowing sister on the couch. Bixel sighed and moved closer to her little sister.

"Did you make her angry?" She questioned grabbing her sister's hands

"No she just started glowing when we were talking and have tried calming her down but she is too hot and you are the only one who can get closer to her so I was about to come to get you at school."

Bixel sighed and closed her eyes, she placed her forehead on her sister's head and they both closed their eyes, slowly her sister's body returned to normal and Bixel let go of her weakly.

Her sister giggled and looked at her body.

"Mum I glowed again did you see it?" She giggled and their mother sighed

"You have to stop it, Nicki, you keep draining your sister's energy trying to calm you down."

"But I tried calming down but it won't work."

"Am sorry Bixel." She apologized and Bixel nodded weakly getting up from the floor

"How was school today?" Her mother asked and she shrugged.

"Same as always." She replied and head straight to her room with her things.

"Am home," Kevin yelled walking into the house.

"Welcome, Hunny." His mother replied from the kitchen and he ran to her.

"Hey, baby how was school today?"

"It was okay and weird, a teacher died in school today."

"Oh my God, what happened?"

"Well, they said she fell off the roof but I believe there is more to it than just that, I mean why would she voluntarily fall down the roof when she is okay?"

"You don't know what she might be going through cause a lot of weird things happen in Bixel."

"Yeah, mum have you ever thought of the name of this town being weird, Bixel is a weird name like it sounds like it doesn't exist to me."

"That has been the name since centuries Kevin, just let it go."

He shrugged and picked an apple before walking out of the kitchen.

Bixel walked into the hallway and bumped into one of the bullies. She was about to leave and he pulled her back.

"Hey, b***h can't you see you bumped into me?" He yelled at her and she stared at him.

She looked at the cloth he was wearing and saw number two on it, she closed her eyes and opened it back and still saw the same number, she sighed and shook her head.

"Am talking to you weirdo are you deaf?"

Students were all around them as they watched Bixel and the bully. He suddenly pushed her and she fell on the floor roughly, he moved closer to her and pulled her hair, he hit her head on the locker roughly and she closed her eyes in pain.

"Hey stop it, let go of her," Kevin yelled rushing into the scene with his friends and Bixel stopped whatever she was planning to do.

"What the hell is your business?"

"Ugh if you don't let her be then you are off the team," Stiles said and he groaned before walking away.

Emily and Melissa rushed to Bixel and helped her up, she ran away immediately she was up and they shrugged.

"She couldn't even say thank you," Melissa complained and Kevin rolled his eyes.

"So you helped her for a thank you?"

"I wasn't talking to you Kevin so keep your f*****g mouth shut."

"Or what?"

"Stop it both of you, must you guys act this way all the time?" Scott asked and they both glared at each other.

"Let's just get to class." Kevin and Melissa chorused and glared at each other before going to class.

It was finally lunch break and they all head to the cafeteria, the five friends talked on the way as they head to the cafeteria, they got there and sat down with their lunch.

Suddenly Bixel passed beside their table and Emily didn't know why she suddenly held her hand, Bixel turned to their table and Emily let go of her hand with an apologetic look.

"Am sorry I was just wondering if you would like to join us?" She asked nervously trying to cover up for what she did. Bixel stared at them for a while and suddenly walked away.

"Why did you hold her like that?" Scott asked

"I had no idea." She muttered looking at her hand.

Bixel finally drew the bully and used her red marker to draw the blood dripping from his body. The drawing was about him stabbed unto the pole in front of their school in his neck, she sighed and closed her eyes before opening it again.

The school was finally over and every student walked out of the school, they all paused and watched the dead body in front of the school, the five friends joined the scene and also watched, Bixel sighed and picked her red marker, she drew the death sign on it and turned to the direction of her house.

Bixel walked into her house and bent down immediately her three-year-old sister flew over her head with fire all over her body.

"Yes am flying." She yelled happily and her mother sighed watching her as she also read her magazine.

"Hey, mum."

"How are you baby?"

"Mum why is she flying?"

"I don't know, she just discovered she could fly today and she has been flying since then."

"I don't understand why her powers started showing up when she is three, mine started when I was close to ten."

"Yeah, I also don't know why."

"Mummy, Bixel look!" She yelled happily as her hair also caught on fire and she flew higher into the house.

"Why did she get the cool power?" Bixel asked and sat beside her mum.

"Just forget about her, her powers are a mistake and she can't even control it."

"Yes, I can." She yelled and the magazine in their mother's hand caught fire.

"Sorry" She giggled and continued flying around the house happily.
