Rejected by the Alpha with Two Identities

Chapter Three

Scott sluggishly woke up from his slumber, his body was as light and weak as that of a person who possessed no power of an Alpha. With the help of his elbow placed on the bed he sat up, looked around, and was about to stand fully up from the bed When Raphael, his right-hand man came in.

"Alpha Scott!" He rushed to him and held him on the bed

"You should rest more, your body is becoming weak and weak as days go by"

"I'm fine Raphael, I just need to walk around and I'll be back to health" Scott urged

"You don't need to act cool In front of me, I know you more than anyone else, I have been with you since we were kids, and I know how you are dying inside of you," Raphael said,

"I brought in your medicine!"

Scott looked at Raphael before smiling. Raphael was more like his best friend who kept all his secrets from him, even the day he was cursed by a wicked witch, Raphael was still there to defend him even though nobody believed him.

"Thank you!" He said with a hint of a smile to Raphael.

"I don't think you would thank me anymore if I told you what I have done"

"Raph!! What did you…" He couldn't complete his words when a knock came from the door.

"Alpha Scott, the elders are here to see you, you are needed immediately!" The voice outside the door announced and left.

"What did you do Raphael!!!" Scott half yelled, before grabbing a long garment with a hoodie on it, no one had ever seen his face except from Raphael and some of his family members.

He walked into the main hall and into the throne hall, he saw three elders sitting majestically, he bowed to each of them before sitting on the throne, and Raphael standing beside him.

"You call for me! Is it that important?" Scott asked. He was the type that acted ruthless and heartless outside, but cool and kind inside.

"We heard the pack was attacked by your brother yesterday, but coming here, the whole pack was cool but you were injured," one elder said.

"I did all I could to protect the park, you don't need to worry about me!!"

"Scott!!" Another one called his name, he was the oldest elder among them.

"The moon goddess chose you to rule over this pack for a reason, you were rejected by your family, and came here for shelter, and then you were chosen to rule this pack. Since then, you have given this pack a great height and love, that doesn't mean you should risk your life"

"Papa Rufus, I know what I'm doing and I would still protect this pack with everything in me, seriously, you don't have to worry about me!" She said with a faint smile.

"You have your decision to make" the first elder spoke

"The main reason we came here, is to tell you that the day of your wedding has been fixed!!" Papa Rufus said

"Wedding? I don't remember fixing any wedding!" Scott half yelled. His mind drifted to Raphael who was standing beside him, he immediately looked at him, while gritting his teeth

"You don't have to look at Raphael like that, I was the one who fixed the wedding for you, and I got a beautiful woman for you, your wedding will be in the next three days!!" Papa Rufus said

"But …"

"No "but" Scott!" Another elder interrupted

"You are not getting any younger, and you also need to take up the full responsibility as an Alpha"

"Prepare for your wedding Scott!" The elder concluded and left with the first one.

Scott immediately came down from his throne and headed to Papa Rufus, who was looking elsewhere to avoid eye contact with Scott

"Papa Rufus, I don't want to get married now" Scott grabbed the shirt of Papa Rufus while playing with it like a little kid.

The old man then turned to him and removed the hoodie he was putting on, his hands went through the mark of the devil around his face and body.

"I'm doing all this for you Scott, when you marry and become an Alpha king, the elders will give you the power of a King, and you don't need to keep hiding in the dark, I know your curse won't reverse easily, but at least you would have the highest power to defend yourself"

"I think Papa Rufus is right!" Raphael added

"How did you do it?" Scott asked

"Nobody has seen my face, they won't allow their daughter to marry me"

"Not when it comes to the Moonlight Park king, he Is a greedy person, who would do anything for power, but he has a loving and beautiful daughter, you would love her too" Papa Rufus explained

"So the wedding is in three days!"

"I'm not going to promise you that I would treat her nice, it's better for her to stay far away from me, than know about my past"

"I think she would understand if you explain to her," Raphael said

"This time around, I would make the decision, all I need to is marry her, and nothing else, you know how I hate mingling with unknown people"

"Ahh, if only you would forget about the past and move on with your life, try fighting the future to amend the past, Scott!!" Papa Rufus said before leaving

"Alpha Scott, why don't you give yourself time to know her more, I'm sure you would like her," Raphael said

"Thinking of that I have someone to see today, I can't break my promise"

"I will settle our score when I get back, don't follow me, take care of the pack, and send information if anything happens here" Alpha Scott commanded.

"That's the Scott I Know!" Raphael murmured.
