Chapter 7

1860 Words
Lucca Giovanni's POV After she said that I was the last and only home that she had now, I completely lost it. I can't control stopping her from crying. It was hurting my soul to see my dolcezza cry because of me. My empathy and love went out for her when she cried and sobbed and spilled all that she has been feeling all those years and how I did not even have a clue about it. I kissed her, it was the only way that I know to comfort her and she felt right under my arms. I hold her tight as I don't want to let her go out of my life and sight anymore. I wanted to shower her with my wealth and love and all the things that she deserved to have after all those long, yearning, and lonely 3 years. For 26 years of my life, the last 3 years when Laura went missing in action on me was the push that I needed to confirm my feelings for her. I thought that I loved Lucia but turned out it was all lies. I dated her because I wanted to get myself busy and without thinking about Laura. All I know was that I was only a big brother to her. I did not even deserve her. "But, if you never go for what your heart truly wants, you never know what is the best for you," the advice from my sister, Talia, echoed in my head. It was the day of Uncle Oronzo's death that I was rushing to the cemetery to see her even though I kept my distance. But her magnetic pull was so strong that I had to see her. Touch her. Tell her what I have been feeling for the last 26 years and I will not let it go to waste anymore. After she was drunk and went into a deep sleep, I carried her bridal style and told my hotel manager that I wanted my car ready at the foyer. He obliged and I went to the foyer where my black Lamborghini with customized 'Giovanni' plate was. He opened the door to the passenger seat and I put Laura there, safe and sound with the seatbelt on. I kissed her on the lips one last time before going to the driver's seat and sped off from the foyer. After I arrived in front of my mansion, my maid came to help me to open the door and prepare the bed for Laura. Well, we slept in my bedroom so really, just opened the duvet for me to put Laura there. I excused the maid from her duty and went to help Laura get ready for bed. I took a bowl and a towel to watch her face and get her makeup off even though she just had light makeup on. I took her shoes and put her in a comfortable position. She moved a little at the time but I just chuckled at her as her face was cute like a cute baby that pumped blood to my c**k. I shook my head before getting ready for bed. I brushed my teeth and changed into pajama pants and went to her side, caressing her cheek. "Dolcezza, I have always loved you. It's me that I don't trust. When I'm around you, I can't control my urge and my desire to make you mine. And, don't believe everything that you heard in a rumor. You know I only want you," I said before I kissed her lips. She groaned and moved in her sleep. I chuckled before going to my side and switching off the bed lamps. Laura Conti's POV "Dolcezza, I have always loved you. It's me that I don't trust. When I'm around you, I can't control my urge and my desire to make you mine. And, don't believe everything that you heard in a rumor. You know I only want you..." a voice was whispering inside my head before I slipped even more into the abyss. Ring! Ring! Ring! I groaned. I pulled my pillow over my head to block out the noise. I was having a very pleasant dream where Lucca was caressing my face as I looked into his slate orbs. They were magnetic as always. Then, his image disappeared as the pillow was being dragged from my face and sunlight was giving warmth to my ugly morning face. "Morning, mi amore. Time to wake up or you will be late for your work," a velvety voice that made every hair on my neck stand up. I should know that voice but I can't pinpoint it. I was being forced to get up from the comfort of my bed. I groaned louder, trying to make that person go away, only to hear the voice chuckle and its breath on my left ear. "Wake up, mi amore or else I can't stop what you've started this morning," he said. I opened my eyes when my nose took a whiff of its manly cologne. It was his signature cologne. I am so doomed! I turned around to see that Lucca's face was an inch before my face. If either of us moved, our lips definitely will be touching. "Ah!" I screamed before jumping off my bed. Wait, that's not my bed. I was not in my room nor my apartment. The last thing that I remembered from last night was that I was having dinner with Lucca in his fancy restaurant. "Why on earth are you here?" I asked him. "Actually, I should be asking you that. But, no matter. You're my fiancée, so, mi casa es su casa. Everything's that mine is yours from now on. After all, you're my betrothed," Lucca said before he got up from the bed. He was just wearing his pajama pant and shirtless. It was a sight but also really annoying as he knew how much it affected me. "Like what you're seeing?" he asked smugly before smirking at me. He moved towards me as I was backing up before my back hit the wall. I was afraid of what was his next step. As he was getting closer, I closed my eyes and waited for something to happen. Fortunately, nothing was happening as we were standing there awkwardly. "Good morning, mi amore," Lucca whispered before he pulled my chin and claimed my mouth with his. And let me tell you, this man can kiss! He was claiming my mouth like it was his. I was desperate enough to kiss him back. Curse you, heart! I was moaning into his mouth before he also groaned after hearing my moans. He grabbed my legs and pulled them up before he started walking toward the bed. He dumped me onto the bed and his weight onto my body. He was caressing my legs up and down while I snaked my hands around his neck. I can feel my erected n*****s were grazing his chest as my lingerie was very thin. "Ah..." I moaned as he released my mouth before moving his lips toward my neck. I gasped as he left a trail of wet kisses along my neck before going onto my breasts. "Lucca..." I moaned. "Just say the word and I'm all yours, mi amore," he said as he was playing with my hardening n*****s. "I'm late for work," I said, making him stop on his track. He looked at me with his expression 'Are you kidding me right now?'. "Sorry, but I really need to go," I said before pushing him off my body and I ran toward the bathroom. I went inside and locked the door, making sure that Lucca will not get inside to continue his seduction of me. I rested my hand on my chest. My heart was beating so fast as I traced my lips that were still swollen from his attack. They were bruised but in a good way. I gulped before I shook my head and headed for a shower. After half an hour of trying to figure out how the f*****g shower head worked and not to get too much hot water to burn my skin, I went out of the bathroom, wearing only the towels that were available in the room. I've wrapped them securely onto my body and unlocked the door. I opened the door a little bit to see if Lucca was around. I stepped outside and boy, how I did not see him there. "You forget your undergarments," he said, making me startled in my steps. I followed the source of the voice and I locked my eyes with his slate orbs that were eyeing me up and down. He smirked at the sight as he was nodding his approval. I rolled my eyes at him before taking the undergarments that were provided by him. "You've changed," he said before I went into the bathroom again to change. I looked at him boringly. "Sometimes, the hurt is too much that it can change the physical and emotion of a person," I said before closing the door loud enough to not hear his reply to my comment. It was 7 AM and my mouth watered at the sight of the foods that were served on the table in front of me. "Come, let's eat," Lucca said as he pulled a chair for me to sit. He sat across me. There were sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, yogurts, cappuccino (because Lucca was a Cappuccino beast), pasta, and many more that I can't describe. I was so hungry as I was having a hangover from last night. I can't remember what happened after I blackout when I felt my head was light-headed after a glass of champagne. "Here, eat. I cooked all of this for you," he said while putting all the food in front of my plate. "You did all this?" I asked. Lucca nodded. "Wow, I don't know that heir of Giovanni's Empire can cook," I said before I dug into my delicious breakfast. "Well, don't tell anybody. It ruins my image," he said jokingly. Lucca smiled as I smiled but with a lot of food in my mouth as I ate like a pig. As if I care what Lucca thought of me. It was a platonic marriage after all and he was the only funded source that can help me find my father's killer for he was an influential person in Italy. I looked at the clock that was above me on the wall. "s**t!" I said before getting up from the table. After indulging in those sweet foods, boy, it was hard to leave. "I'm late, I see you tonight," I said as I kissed him on the cheeks before heading out of the house, no scratch that, out of the mansion and into a waiting car outside. Only after the car had sped off into the road, I thought about how on earth did I change from my beggar clothes into lingerie, and the phrase I spoke before leaving made me want to slap my face.
