I leaned back on Zidane, my eyes taking in the slowly revolving night sky. The fire burned in front of us, illuminating the cave we hadn't bothered to enter just yet.
"It's beautiful," I said, slowly turning to him.
He laughed, nodding. "I know. But distant. So distant."
"You are right. But isn't that the whole point? Stars wouldn't be beautiful if we could find them just like that."
He slowly met my eyes, and even though he said nothing, his eyes said more than ever, and I swallowed, looking away from him.
"I was just..." I trailed off, and we fell into silence again, his eyes staring off at the sky.
"Leilyn?" He suddenly said, then moved, so he was facing me, his eyes taking me in, burning with intensity.
