I woke up to the gentle knocks on the door. My brows furrowed as I straightened and turned to the window again. It was dark outside, and Zidane was still holding on to me, his fingers tight around my waist. I sighed, then gently moved out of bed and walked to the door. A female servant was by the door, her head slightly bowed. "Lord Daniel has asked me to bring you both down for dinner. Dinner will be in the floating hut that connects to the Demur river." I nodded. "Sure. We will be right down." She bowed again, then walked away, leaving me standing by the door. I grabbed unto the door knob, my chest slightly heaving, my heart sinking to my feet. It was time.
