Fiona's POV I was outside later that afternoon, playing with some of the pups that were friends with Luna Marella's pups. It was all sunshine and happiness until, well… The first droplet caught me off guard. Soft, shy, like a curious fingertip tapping my cheek. I tilted my head up, half-expecting it to be nothing — a mere tease. It wasn’t. The clouds shattered, and the garden vanished behind a wild downpour. It hit fast. No warning. No gentle build-up. Just—crash—rain everywhere, wild and unapologetic. The garden blurred into streaks of silver. Leaves bowed. Petals collapsed. The scent of earth and crushed herbs exploded around us, thick and sharp. Panic? No, more like glorious chaos. Pure, messy, chaos. Pups screeched. Feet flew. Tiny bodies darted across the garden....like a flock
