Fiona’s POV I had made it my mission to disappear. Not literally. That would’ve been easier. Blending in was impossible when carrying a child in a pack that wanted me gone. I tried anyway. The healer’s cabin became my world. I stuck to its shadows, moved when I had to, and kept my head down. Wolves had sharp eyes, sharper whispers, and the sharpest glares. It was bearable—until my own body betrayed me. Exhaustion clung to me like a second skin. My growing belly made everything harder.
