That evening, when Lily woke up, she checked the time and saw that it was already past six. She quickly stood up, deciding to make Logan's room first. After that, she would prepare dinner. So she headed to Logan's room first.
She tried the door and realized it was not locked. She thought maybe Logan had gone out and not returned yet, or maybe he was back but had forgotten to lock the door. She pushed the door open and rushed inside.
As she took a few steps into the room, she saw something that made her stop dead in her tracks. Her eyes widened in shock, and she stood still for a moment, forgetting everything around her.
Lily's eyes were fixed on the shocking scene before her. She saw Logan in bed with a woman, and her mind struggled to process what she was seeing.
She quickly got hold of herself and ran out of the room, not wanting to intrude on the intimate moment. She rushed back to her own room, her heart racing with shock and confusion.
As she tried to calm down, she couldn't shake off the image of what she had just seen. She thought about how Logan had been bringing different women into the house, and how she had assumed he was just being friendly.
But now, she realized that he had been having s*x with them all along. The thought made her feel sick to her stomach.
Lily sat on her bed, her mind racing with thoughts and memories. She remembered the first day she arrived at the mansion, and how Logan had joked about her also being his "help in bed".
At the time, Joel had told her that Logan was just joking, that it was a lie. But now, after what she had just seen, Lily realized that it was actually true. Logan was indeed the kind of person who would use his wealth and power to exploit women.
Lily felt a wave of disgust wash over her. She couldn't believe she had been so blind to Logan's true nature. She thought to herself, "Why would Joel cover for him? Why would he lie to me like that?"
She got up from her bed and walked over to the window, looking out into the night. She felt a sense of unease and discomfort, knowing that she was living in a house with someone who had such little respect for women.
As she stood there, she couldn't help but wonder what other secrets Logan was hiding. And she couldn't shake off the feeling that she needed to get out of that house as soon as possible.
But on the other hand, she remembered her mother. She thought about how her family was relying on her for financial support. They needed the money she earned working for Logan to survive.
Lily felt a pang of sadness and frustration. She thought to herself, "I'm trapped. I have to keep enduring this because of my family. They're counting on me."
She took a deep breath and steeled herself for what lay ahead. She knew she had to keep working for Logan, no matter how difficult it was. She couldn't let her family down.
As Logan approached her in the kitchen, Lily felt a sense of unease. She tried to avoid eye contact, focusing instead on the vegetables she was chopping.
Logan cleared his throat, breaking the silence. "I'm sorry," he said, his voice low and smooth.
Lily's hands paused, the knife hovering over the cutting board. "Why are you sorry, sir?" she asked, trying to keep her tone neutral.
Logan sighed, his eyes locked onto hers. "Look, you know what you saw earlier. And I'm sorry you had to see that."
Lily felt a flush rise to her cheeks. "It's none of my business, sir," she said, trying to brush it off.
But Logan continued, his voice taking on a more introspective tone. "The truth is, Lily, that's who I really am. What you saw earlier... that's what I do with those women who come to visit."
Lily's eyes widened, shocked by Logan's admission. She felt a wave of disgust wash over her, and she tried to take a step back, but her feet seemed rooted to the spot.
Logan's eyes seemed to bore into hers, as if daring her to react. "I want you to know who I really am, Lily," he said, his voice low and husky. "Before we start pretending to be dating. I don't want you to be shocked or surprised when you see me with other women."
Lily felt a wave of disgust wash over her. "I told you I can't do this, sir," she said, trying to back away.
Logan stepped closer to her. "Stop calling me sir, Lily. Call me Logan. We're going to be pretending to be in a relationship, after all."
Lily smiled wryly. "I don't think that's a good idea. And I can't pretend to be your girlfriend."
Logan looked at her, his eyes narrowing. "I thought we had an agreement, Lily. I thought you were going to help me."
Lily shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I don't think I can do this. Nothing can change my mind."
Logan's face darkened, but Lily stood her ground.
After a while, Logan broke the silence. "My mom must not know about this," he said, his voice low.
Lily looked at him, confused. "Know about what?" she asked.
Logan's eyes locked onto hers. "About my habit. About me being a womanizer. Nobody must know about it, and I want to keep it that way."
Lily felt a shiver run down her spine. "That's simple," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "No one will know about it. I promise sir."
"I said you should call me by my name. " Logan
"Alright , Logan. A promise is a promise "
Logan's face relaxed slightly, and he nodded. "Okay, I trust you. Let's just keep this between us." he made to leave and then turned back "There's one more thing"
"What's that?" Lily asked.
