We were in front of an arcade shop off Aaron's neighborhood and I went over the plan with a pouting, reluctant Nate. He was to wait here and play games or whatever he wanted to do with his time and I promised not to take more than 40 minutes at most.
"That's a lot of time. 15 minutes is my limit." He negotiated and I frowned.
"We have things to talk about, 38 minutes." I removed some time.
"That's barely anything, 16 minutes."
"Like you're any better."
"Sarah? Nate?"
I jumped, literally at Aaron's voice. He'd just come out of the arcade we'd planned for Nate to stay him and beside him, Lily holding a panda teddy bear.
Oh s**t.
I tried to compose myself and gave a big smile. "Oh hi, Aaron!" I looked at Lily who was staring at Nate quizzically. "Lily how're you? Who got you a panda?"
