Chupke chupke aunga part 5

After the bus got punctured, the three of us quickly started walking toward the railway station. Very little time was left, and we had only one worry in our minds—that we might miss the train. Priyanshi kept looking at her watch again and again, and Ankita was also feeling nervous. I kept reassuring them while walking ahead with fast steps. After some time, we finally saw the railway station from a distance. Seeing it brought a bit of relief to our faces. As soon as we entered the station, we looked around. Some people were sitting here and there on the platform, while others were waiting for their trains. We quickly went and sat on an empty bench because we were all tired from walking. Just then, Priyanshi looked at me and said, “You sit here, I’ll be back in a moment…” I asked, “Where are you going? If you need anything, tell me—I’ll bring it.” Priyanshi smiled and said, “No, you sit here. I’m going with Ankita.” Then Priyanshi and Ankita went to get water and something to eat. After some time, they returned, but they had forgotten to buy the tickets. I said with a bit of concern, “Hey Priyanshi, the train is about to arrive and we haven’t even bought the tickets!” Ankita laughed and said, “Yes, brother! But don’t worry. There’s no crowd there—I’ll quickly go and get the tickets. You both stay here.” I said, “Alright, but both of you go together.” Ankita smiled, “Okay, we both are going to get the tickets.” After a while, Ankita returned with the tickets. Then the three of us moved toward Platform No. 5. Our coach number was also the same as mentioned on the ticket. Priyanshi said, “We should wait here.” Soon, the train arrived. As soon as it stopped, we boarded it. Inside, we saw that almost all the seats were empty. Happily, we said, “Wow! We got seats easily. Otherwise, when we traveled from Katni to Jabalpur, we didn’t even get a place to sit.” We sat down and started talking. I said to Priyanshi, “Do you know something?” She laughed and said, “How will I know unless you tell me?” I said, “I’ve never seen a train this empty before. This is the first time I’m traveling in such an empty train.” Ankita said, “Yes, brother, that’s true. When we came from Katni to Jabalpur, we had to stand the whole way.” Priyanshi said, “There are reasons behind this.” I asked, “What reason?” Priyanshi replied, “Sometimes the arrangements aren’t managed properly, so passengers face difficulties.” I said, “Yes, if more coaches were added, people could travel comfortably.” We were still talking when my father called. He said, “Son, where are you right now?” I replied, “Dad, I’m in the train. Don’t worry, we’ll reach on time. And don’t worry about the blood—we’ve arranged it.” He said, “Alright, son. Take care. I’m at the hospital with your mother.” I said, “Okay, Dad. I’ll call you once we reach.” He said, “Okay, bye.” I said, “Bye.” Then Priyanshi asked, “What did your father say? Is everything okay?” I smiled and said, “Yes, everything is fine. He was just asking whether we got the train or not.” Just then, Priyanshi’s father also called. He said, “Did you get the train, dear?” Priyanshi replied, “Yes, Dad. We got the train. We’re already seated.” He said, “Alright, take care. Don’t eat anything if a stranger offers you food.” Priyanshi smiled and said, “Okay, Dad.” After saying that, she hung up. We were happy, but also a little sad. Sad because mother was ill, and happy because the journey was going smoothly so far. At the next station, the train stopped. A girl boarded the train from there and came to us and said, “Sir, may I sit here, if this seat is not occupied?” I smiled and said, “Yes, of course. No one is sitting here.” She said, “Thank you, sir.” After a while, she asked, “Where are you all going?” I replied, “We are going to Katni.” Priyanshi asked, “What is your name?” The girl smiled and said, “My name is Gudiya. I am a nurse at a hospital in Katni.” Priyanshi asked, “Which hospital do you work in?” Gudiya replied, “I work at Bajaj Hospital.” Hearing this, Ankita softly said, “Brother, Mom is admitted in the same hospital.” I quietly said, “Yes, Dad had told me. We won’t tell her yet.” After some time, we took out our food. We also offered food to Gudiya, but she refused. She said, “No, you all eat. I’ve already eaten at home.” Priyanshi said, “No, you must eat with us.” Gudiya smiled and said, “Okay, then I’ll just take one roti.” I laughed and said, “Of course! We’ll all eat together.” Ankita said, “Yes, brother, you’re right.” And then we all happily sat together and ate. After some time, as we were about to reach Katni, the train suddenly stopped in between. Actually, it had been stopped on the side to allow another train to pass. We joked, “Looks like the train got punctured—let’s get down and push it!” Hearing this, Priyanshi, Ankita, and Nurse Gudiya started laughing. Priyanshi laughed and said, “Yes, come on, let’s push it—maybe it will start moving!” We were still joking when the train slowly started moving again. Ankita smiled and said, “See! I told you, the train would start.” Priyanshi and Gudiya laughed and said, “Of course, it’s your train—it will listen to you!” We all burst into laughter. After a short while, the train reached near Katni station and slowly came to a halt. As soon as the train stopped at the platform, the voices of tea and snack vendors echoed all around— “Tea… hot tea!” “Samosas… hot samosas!” There was a lot of hustle and bustle at the station. As the train stopped, we all picked up our luggage and slowly got down from the train.
