Chapter Nine teen I woke up the next morning to the birds chirping away out side the bed room window, making it seem like every thing in the whole world was ok. For me, right this second, it was. There was no impending departure, there was no good byes on the horizon, There was just me and Kip and that was it. I turned over on to my back and stretched, but when I looked over, expecting to see Kips sleeping face, I noticed.. I was in bed alone. He wasn’t there. I reached out to feel his side of the bed.
