After meeting, they went for lunch and introduced him to Nina and Dimitri then told him everything, while they ate, Abby handed her father the note she had gotten from William; however, she wrote something new. Michael soon found out that she knew a secret, the very one he tried everything to keep away from the girls to protect them. No matter what she knew he still loved both of them so much. "I'm sorry I never told you girls, I wanted you both to grow up in a loving home, not a torn one. But then that day the boys came barging in, Thomas yelling and William just stood there with a large amount of sorrow on his face until his brother handed him a gun and told him to get everything he could out of me while he kept a look-out for you girls." Abby just looked at her father, she knew that he had his reasons to do what he did, and to her, it didn't matter much what anyone said, he was still her father. "I know Dad, I do and I'm not mad. I see you were going to get your blondish-grey hair redied and cut I'm guessing? You should leave it as it is it looks like a statement!" She let out a laugh and took a sip of her water. "Hey, Dad please don't tell anyone you saw me I don't wanna put anyone back in danger, all I ask is that you get that note to my sis-" Michael looked down at his watch and cut Abby off sighing and standing up, "Dad? Is everything ok?" Abby stood up when her father did, took out his phone giving it to Nina before speaking. "I understand, I promise I won't tell anyone and I'll get it to your sister one way or another. But I'm sorry sweetie, I've gotta go, I have someone waiting for me at my apartment." Nina got out her phone and put Auntie Rosa's number in his phone under Auntie Rosa(Abby) and handed it back to him. Soon after Abby quickly shot under the table and Michael looked around and there he saw him, the man who helped his wife kidnap the girls, Thomas Red was looking for Abby once again. He felt a roar of anger throughout his body, Michael wanted to walk right up to him, and give him one big punch in the jaw, but as soon as Abby got back up now in a wig, he gave her one more hug and ran off to his car. He got into his car and immediately drove off to his apartment where Chloe was waiting outside, he sat in his car for a few minutes wondering how to face anyone after what just happened. When he got to where Chloe was she could tell something was up. "Michie, you can tell me anything that happened? You didn't get anything done." He unlocked his door and pulled her inside. They sat down on the couch after making some tea, Michael was quiet and hesitant to say anything whatsoever. "I saw and met Abby, she's alive! But you can't tell anyone not even my mother, she said so, she's been through a lot, luckily she has people watching and protecting her so I can relax. She gave me this letter and I have to give it to Maris, you remember her right? You guys met over video chat that one time with my mother." Chloe was just as shocked as Michael was when he first saw her, she heard what had happened when she met Michael. "I don't know what to do, I feel like I should call Maris and ask her to come here so I can give it to her in person you know? But I don't want to put her in harm's away again, I promised myself that nothing would stop me from keeping my child safe, not after thinking I lost one of them." Chloe looked up and placed her hand on his smiling, Michael had tears streaming down his face down. "Yes, but if she asked you to give it to her then you should go do it now." Michael nodded and got up walking outside to the patio and calling Maris. A few rings and she picked up, as he spoke he paced. "Maris I need you to come to New York, there's something I need to give you." As he paced he started getting a bit cold so he stepped inside, "No, I need you to come here, please." He heard a sigh and her voice, what she said caused him to hang up, Michael walked back to the couch. "She doesn't want to come up, but she said she'd think about, or well, sleep on it. Chloe, Can you do me a favor? Take this and hide it, if anything were to happen this needs to make it to Maris." Chloe nodded taking the note and placing it in her jacket pocket. They sat in the living room for the rest of the night and watched movies. Friday morning was a hectic start, Chloe stayed overnight because she had fallen asleep and Michael didn't want to bother her, she looked kinda peaceful. It was about ten am when Chloe woke up, she stood upright as she stretched, it wasn't till she looked around that she realized, she was still in Michael's apartment. "I am so sorry Michie, I didn't realize how tired I was." He smiled and shook his head as he typed on his laptop. "I don't mind Chloe, you looked peaceful so I just let you be, plus I've been working on my website, but now that your awake let's get you to the shop and me to the salon, I need to get this hair taken care of before tonight." He laughed and closed the laptop, when he got up he walked over to the door putting on his coat. "After the haircut, I can spend the rest of the day looking for a nice outfit to match the new due." They got into the car and he dropped off Chloe at her shop then went off to the salon. After the cut was set and done, he went and bought himself a new suit, it was a jet black jacket with a white shirt and dark blue tie, he sent a picture of his outfit to his mother and she loved it right away. "Oh it's perfect honey, are you guys still meeting at my apartment before dinner so I can meet her?" She had gotten up and made herself a dirty martini which she did every night around this time while Michael was getting in the car because, by this time, he had to quickly get home and get ready. "Yes, of course, mother! She's excited to meet you as well." They said their see you later's and he pulled up into his complex. He went up to his door where a piece of paper was taped, he took it off and read it aloud. Where is are the girls Michael? I know you know, I'm giving you till tonight to give me the details. Remember don't go to the police if you do, you'll end up in a ditch never being able to see either of your girls. You know how I get when I don't get what I want. Last Warning Michael Snow. See he had been getting notes like this for about two days now since he saw Abby, only they didn't scare him. He shoved the paper in his suit pocket after his shower and walking back to his car and off to his mother's apartment where his 'date' was waiting outside of her car. "Ah, Mia? Is that you?" He smiled and offered a hug which she took and he kissed her on the cheek, Mia had long silver hair and blue eyes. She was pretty pale, they walked up to the apartment. "Mother! We're here!" His mother came into the living room from her balcony smiling and hugged Mia, however, when she did she smelled something familiar it was roses and mint. Her mind wondering as they left, she thought and thought but couldn't figure it out. "Ok so, have you been to the Midnight Raven?" She looked over and laughed. "The Midnight Raven? No, I have not." Michael gasped and looked at her, He was surprised that someone who claimed to have lived in New York for half of their life didn't know what the Midnight Raven was. "Well, it's the most popular restaurant in the big apple. Their food is to die for so I'm sure you'll love it!" As they drove they talked and talked about almost everything, there was something a bit familiar about Mia that reminded him of his ex-wife. Which, in ways, was concerning to him but at the same time she felt different, as soon as they arrived the waiter took them straight to their table and they sat down. They laughed a lot Mia made sure Michael had a lot to drink when they left the restaurant so that he would allow her to drive which is exactly what happened. She started driving while Michael, as soon as he hit the seat passed out, Mia turned down a road where the North Cove Marina was located. She knew that at this time barely anyone would be here, so she planned everything out. Mia parked in the lot where a man stood, this man had hair as red as fire. "Thomas! Don't just stand there help me!" Thomas ran over to Mia and opened Michael's door throwing him over his shoulder. "Ava, you really think this is the best place to do this?" Ava death stared at him, wiping off her makeup and taking off the dress she wore, slipping into a jumpsuit and putting on some gloves. "What did you call me? Never mind that, yes I do. No one is going to be here till morning and we'll be gone by then so yes perfect place." Thomas fixed his glove and rolled his eyes following Ava, they made it to the boat they were 'borrowing' for the night and tied Michael to a chair taping his mouth shut, trying to hide the screams that were about to take place. "Mmmm?" Michael started to wake up after being splashed with some water, he looked around and saw Thomas. He noticed a woman who looked like Mia but was different, they removed the tape for a few seconds for him to speak. "What the f**k is happening? Mia? Why are you with him? He's-" Just then Ava retaped his mouth and spoke. "Oh please, don't you recognize me, honey?" She took out from her bag, a brown wig, once she put it on, Michael's eyes soon widened and his body became hot with anger. He now realized that the woman that stood before him, was his ex-wife. It was going to be a rough night of torture, ending with death, for Mr. Michael J Snow.
